See this I like the sound of. Those vigilantes would be in bad taste. Some could get hurt and Miles is left cleaning up the mess. Of course it would have to go a bit further than this, so maybe it could involve the Scorpion Clone being the one real-esq Spider-Man among all the imposters.

Also, after thinking it through, just because both logos are depicted in the teaser, that doesn't mean that Miles and Peter will in fact meet. If it is the real Peter, I mean. It could be an untold story that starts with Peter, lasts a few issues and then we jump to the present where now Miles is faced with a continuation of the same threat or challenge. Kind of a "passing of the torch" story. It would give Peter fans, who feel betrayed by Bendis, one more non-death-related Ultimate Peter Parker story and not resort to resurrections/timetravel/retcons/dumbcrap.

I like the sound of both of those ideas, even if one is a little Ultimate Spider-Island.

The story being told in both past and present is a device that's being used to great effect in Angel & Faith currently to give fans of Giles more face time after his death.

My thoughts are another Spider-man shows up everyone thinks its Peter back but it wont be.

He may have opened more than just a bag. This could be the preview of Pandora's Box being opened one way or the other, especially since the Ultimate board isn't the only place this teaser has gotten attention. But we'll have to wait for more news to see just where this goes. But for it to be done like this, it looks to be big. After all, just look at what that teaser of the Phoenix with the tag line 'It's Comming' turned into.

I will stop buying ultimate comics if they bring him back after Dosm or if they do a crossover with 616-Marvel Peter. It's just way to soon to pull something like bringing Peter back

Finally, someone at Newsarama is thinking straight. Even though they do mention that a 616 crossover is certainly a possibility, they mention that this is most likely not the case and that it is more than likely a strictly Ultimate Universe related story. Click this, dummy.
