Loving Slott's ASM run, but is there going to be yet another epidemic/catastrophe in NYC? (That's what the second teaser seems to indicate.)
Man, I'm not sure how they get anything done in that city with a major event every few months. How can the taxpayers afford to clean and rebuild that many times a year?
Either way, you'll get my $4![]()
I always knew Global Warming would be the death of us.
This is so very wrong. Since when do the Sinister Six kill innocent people.![]()
You bring up a good point: Wichita, KS and Bismarck, ND have been conspicuously ignored by super-villain plots.
Anyway, I am really glad Caselli has been tapped for this arc; I have been a big fan of his since that Spider-Slayer/Scorpion arc from last year and was hoping he would handle a big event. Itching to see full preview pages....hopefully soon!![]()
"What oldschool said"
The Shadow, 2008
True, not much call to wage an assault on Fargo, but you've got to admit that New Yorkers must have a hell of a life in the Marvel U. From Civil Wars to alien invasions to avatars of fear to spider epidemics (and that's just within the last six years!), it's a dangerous town.
I am stoked for this storyline.
I don't know how,but the Sinister Six storylines in the Spidey comics are always cool and this should be no exception.
Pull List:Uncanny Avengers,Avengers,Superior Spider-Man,Daredevil,Captain America,Thor:God of Thunder,Swamp Thing.
From poisoning the Earth's atmosphere for cocaine users to now Global warming Doc Ock sure hates the troposphere.
I wish they would fix Doctor Octopus. I'm sick of Doctor Frogtopus.
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Actually, I haven't seen them in a while, but according to Wikipedia, Damage Control is still around, appearing in "New Avengers" #1 (2010). They could be getting NYC back into working order, I suppose.
By the way, does anyone know how Damage Control makes money? Does the government pay them to fix things? I've never actually read the title, but I love the concept.
Can't wait.
Looking forward to see Doc Ock really wreak havoc on the world and giving the heroes a big run for their money. Most importantly, Ock must be cured!!!
...you're really asking?
Well, off the top of my head, Electro and the Vulture killed several people in the Marvel Knights arc. The Vulture also murdered everyone who knew him prior to his rejuvination in the late 90's.
Electro also killed members of Dexter Bennet's personal staff, and brought down the entire DB building, and while we didn't see if it killed anyone, it certainly wasn't for lack of trying.
Speaking of buildings, the Rhino's MO has no doubt left several bystanders dead. He's also been known to work as an assassin in the past. (So has Kraven, incidentally.)
Oh, and Chameleon has also worked as an assassin, not mentioning his habit of killing people he needs to replace.
Mysterio hired Bullseye to kill Karen Page and a bunch of nuns. He also killed a host of mobsters in "Mysterioso."
Sandman's fractured psyche killed a couple folks during his Gauntlet story line, although his "normal" persona did seem geniuenly upset by it.
And Doc Ock has killed, or tried to kill, hosts of innocent people several times, as well as being willing to completely upset mid-East relations over a petty grudge.
on top of Doc Ock's crime, poison the earths atmosphere to make impossible for cocaine addicts to get high, he's had the Six murder an entire alternate dimension, killed Betty Brant's brother, tried to poison the populace of New York with poison ink in the Daily Bugle's newspaper and so on.
