No strat or extension request from Bob/Vyce, so that's a VOID.
Real Life takes precedence. If you need to just drop out, go ahead; there's only two weeks left after this anyway. Good luck with everything.
ANNOUNCEMENT: For the remainder of this League, Tami will be the primary thread poster, and I am switching to back-up. Still send your strats to me, in case Tami can't post. Matches will still be posted in the afternoon/evening US time. I will also post for Tami's upcoming matches.

Hate to do it, but real life is eating up my time (especailly lawn care and potential college courses). I think I need to drop out. Sorry all, I really am. It's embarassing, but I just don't have the time left to me to properly create good strats and give the League 100%.

I'm okay with that, but your final matches will be voids. Same with anyone else who can't continue.
Whatever I get, assuming that both teams are accounted for, I'll post tonight. Everyone has until Tomorrow night to send me strats, which I will post then. If I don't receive anything by tomorrow night at the latest it will be a void.

Some thoughts and suggestions:
1) Take a real break before starting the next League. At least a couple of weeks, if not a month. Give people a chance to rest, take care of real life problems, and consider carefully if they wish to participate or not. Fun and Stress do not go together.
2) Whoever ends up in charge of next League, One Round is enough. We don't need it to be so long, that just makes it harder on everyone and keeps others who may be interested in participating from joining in.
3) Set up a rule that new participants are welcome, so long as they team up with a willing experienced player.
4) Two days, that should be long enough and still give people a break between matches so they are not struggling to write strats for another match right after a previous match.
5) Consider sharing duties as much as possible. You don't need to put all the burden on one person, and it would be good to get everyone more involved (assuming they are willing and interested). We have posting fights and dealing with voids, keeping track of scores and credits, shopping thread management, as well as backups for each.
6) Be flexible, but set limits. Extensions are fine, but it should be limited to 24 hours and only 2 or 3 extensions per person/team (of course this is subject to discussion).
7) If there are any characters on the draft list who can no-sell every other character on the list without added equipment, those characters should be dropped.
8) Superman Limit - A single team shouldn't be comprised entirely of 'Supermen' or 'Green Lanterns' or so on. There should be a way to limit this. Not sure how, though.

All the ones I know that have one explicit weakness have that weakness in the store, usually for cheap.
If you're worried about power-level, that's the 10s Rule. As long as you keep the number of 10s allowed down, noone will be ble to buy a whole team of Kryptonians.8) Superman Limit - A single team shouldn't be comprised entirely of 'Supermen' or 'Green Lanterns' or so on. I'f you're worried about people matching themes, well that comes with it's own risks, as anyone who can defeat one aspect of your theme has put a serious dent in the rest of your team as well.
For example one good magic user could take down a whole team of Kryptonians THE WAY THINGS HAPPEN IN THE COMICS.
Likewise once you figure out how to beat ONE green Lantern ring, doing it again for everyone else isn't that hard.

I was due to go against Cleric today.
Does this mean I don't actually have to write a strat and I get the automatic void win?
If so, I'd actually be overjoyed. My flight was delayed by 5 hours, so it's 5am and I just got home.
Really didn't feel like getting up early to write it.
P.S. I'll update the league site tomorrow with all data that has accrued in my absence.

OK.
I didn't recall people doing that with Holacik and sharkerbob? Because they aren't even in the league any more when they drop out, so there is no longer a team to write against. Everyone in the first half of the season got an automatic win against the 2 dropped out leaguers.
There's certainly nothing like that in the void strat thread.
Still, I have got up early to check so I'll write something.

I mentioned this before but I didn't want to do anything about it without approval.
