Original items, yeah, but I'm sure OC's go to whoever creates them.
Well whether I automatically get him or not I'll be providing clear rules and limits for any OC I enter. The one I'm thinking of has a charecter sheet from a popular RPG, so knowing what he can and can't do is reletivly clear.

You automatically get your own OC, and the cost of your OC will be automatically deducted from your initial 120 point start amount.

OIs (items), will be available for purchase by any and all during the Draft.

I've been discussing a team up with Estrecca, and it seems like we will be partnering up for this league.

Munch and I won't be teaming up, I decided I wanted to try going solo again.

Any more players? I'll give this until tomorrow night to see if anyone else is still interested.

I'm leaning towards not playing myself; I have decided to take on a rather arduous task recently, which I think will just end up interfering with my ability to create strategies and the like. If I don't play, I will still host, however, and I will vote when I can.

If you play, as things stand, there'll be 9. If you don't, as things stand, there'll be 8.

Either way, it's a pretty decent number.

I was just wondering, incidentally, will the draft(s) be 2 separate drafts? i.e. 1 for items and 1 for characters? Or will it just be 1 large draft?

And will it be 1 pick at a time or 2 picks?

I remember last time it was 2 picks at a time because it was an amalgamated character/item draft, but I'm not sure if I preferred it or not.

2 goes faster and is easier for building character item combos.

I also enjoyed the single draft, with two picks per turn, like we did last league

Yeah, it'll be a single draft, two picks per turn. Speaking of which, is there a day that works best for people? If not, I was thinking just have this up coming Thursday through Saturday be the draft days, if needed.

As of now, I'm closing entries, so no more players will be excepted. I'm still uncertain on my participation at the moment.

I would like all Character/Item submissions to be in by no later than Wednesday.

Just letting you know, sharker, I've edited your rules in to the league Wiki's rules page (120 credits, 5 team member max, 3 entities worth 10 credits etc).

Ah, thanks. I was hesitant to start editingg other parts of the wiki, as I didn't know what might stick after this one.

It's easily changed if the rules change in the future, so it's no problem.

Might as well just get the rules in there now, in case people who haven't read your rules use it as a reference to start picking their teams now (like I've already done!).

I've been wondering what is the math behind calculating points for each team?

    Standings
    3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

Teams with the most points are highest in the standings. But then if points are equal, 3 factors come in to account to determine who is highest (in order of the following priority):

    1) Votes difference (i.e. the difference between votes for and against). So 10 votes for and 2 votes against is a difference of +8, which is better than 8 votes for and 6 against, which is only a difference of +2.
    2) Votes FOR (i.e. if votes difference is the same, the player with the higher number of votes in their favour).
    3) Head to head (i.e. the overall score between the 2 tied teams in their matches this season).

Or at least that's what it's been so far, with no indication of that changing (I don't think...).
