I was wondering how Lemire would handle the increased workload. Guess he won't be after all.

Yup, after the way earlier's announcements played out this makes sense, FHIZ nailed it in the other thread. Basically it seems that this has all been in service of stormwatch with cornell coming off that book, but we remain with some really strong writers and its brought Matt Kindt onboard which is going to be exciting.

Realistically I doubt Lemire could've handled that many titles, this move unfortunately had to be made.

I've never read anything by Kindt; is he any good? Being a "secret contributor" isn't the same as being the actual writer, so I'm not sure how well he'll handle the transition. Still, I'm enjoying the series right now, so I'm willing to give him a shot.
    Current favorites:

    DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Lemire's Frankenstein is one of my favorites. I don't know anything about Kindt but I'll at least give it a shot.

I don't know, this series isn't selling as it is, I'm not sure how that'll change with this new writer, maybe if DC hires a more popular artist, but that seems unlikely.

i'll probably give him a shot on Frankenstein, but all these changes are a bit disjointing.
Currently recommending: Daredevil, Mudman ( it's back!), Hawkguy, and FF. Can't miss!

That's the problem with a lot of these creative changes on the lower-selling titles. I highly doubt theses books will pick up more readers.

Kindt is amazing, his art alone is worth your money and his writing is great, an interesting match for Frankenstein. Check out super spy and two sisters, that'll wash all doubt

I honestly think this is going to make the title better.

Lemire had some fun stuff, but he's not a big action comics writer and he's not a big idea writer.

Kindt IS both of those things, and I anticipate this book improving in quality. Potentially greatly.
