Captain Victory. Change in artist, but it is definitely an improvement. Looks real good.
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
Looking forward to the Lone Ranger and Captain Victory (and I believe that's the same artist, isn't it?).

Have to say, Lone Ranger was amazing. Two issues in, and both of them have been really strong. Very deft story-telling here, with some great artwork.
I'm really impressed by this relaunch. It continues the previous iteration of the character but is really finding its own take on things. Very good.
I liked the Warlord of Mars Annual. The story was entertaining, tho a bit short for the extra cost. The art was awkward in spots, but passable. Frankly, Dejah Thoris is the only WOM title that has really fantastic art, so i'm kinda used to 'passable' art here. As long as the stories hold me, I'm generally ok.
Then we had the book that tested just how 'ok' I can be with bad art. Wow, the art here sucks. You can't always tell when Dynamite just colors over penciled art, but the pencils were so loose here that it just looks awful. They really need to spend the coin to hire an inker on this thing. I grew up reading Transformers, with guys like Jose Delbo and Dan Reed on the art, and I got used to crappy art on books that i otherwise liked. I'm just not going to justify this expense at full price unless the art improves. Luckily they drop $2 after 30 days on Comixology, otherwise I'm afraid i'd be done here.
I haven't checked to see if Lone Ranger #1 has dropped to $1.99 yet. I've only got a passing interest in the character and just didn't wanna grab it at full price. So far tho, the three of the titles that I've tried from Dynamite in the past month--Warlord of Mars, Lord of the Jungle and Flash Gordon Zeitgeist--have all been really good, so i suspect this will be as well.
