Greg Pak gave a fun run in The Incredible Hercules. I enjoyed a lot his Athena. He knew well his Greek mythology.

"A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her."
Oscar Wilde
im not sure, his Chaos War was pretty lame
i stand corrected, i had the idea that it was last around a year cause im pretty sure that Azzarello had his plans for around that much
but whatever
Mark Andreyko might be a nice choice
I remember hearing somewhere that Grant Morrison wanted to write a WW story (tho I'm not sure if that is to be a WW Earth One or what). Grant said he had Action planned for about 16 issues, maybe DC will convince Azzarrello to stay on WW around the same length of time and at the end of each run, the teams on WW and Action will swap over. That'd be pretty cool![]()
Throw in another vote for Scott Snyder, it helps that in past interview he's said that he has an enourmous amount of affection for the characters and actually wants to write her. And it would be great to have another top tier writer on the book, especially one whose so popular.
Marc Andreyko would be my next choice. And I would kill to have Amy Reeder on art duties.
Really I want Azzarello and Chiang to stick around for years and continue to do what they're doing since its so very good.
I hadn't even though of scott snyder, but I think the slight horror tone that wonder woman currently has, along with the political intrigue would be an excellent fit for him.
But I'm glad to hear azz and chiang are planning to stay for an extended run.
Jim Shooter.
Ha! Just kidding.
I'm kinda digging Swamp Thing & Batman, so I'd be happy to see what Scott Snyder might do.
I'd rather see Peter Milligan write a WW graphic novel than an ongoing. I find his writing simultaneously interesting and frustrating, creative but often lacking coherence. I just gave up on Justice League Dark, the nth Milligan ongoing that I've started but just don't want to stay with.
I would love a Mark Waid WW run. I realize writing a team book is different from a solo book, but I really enjoyed his take on her in JLA.
She seems to always make hers Marvel, but I wonder how Majorie Liu would fare on WW? I didn't read X-23, but I thought her Black Widow arc was awesome.
I loved enough of Ben Caldwell's WW pitch & Wednesday Comics stint that I'd really like to see him take a crack at the title, but I can't imagine him following Azz. Give this man a 2nd WW title on set on its own Earth in the multiverse!
Even though I voted Mark Waid, he probably won't be jumping to write her, because like Grant Morrison, he wants to get back to her Marston roots of loving submission and all that stuff without being too exploitative and he won't do it until he's figured out how :

Snyder would be in the same tone of Rucka. Azz is a lot darker then Anything in WW Vol 3.
Milligan is very creative, specially involving mystery and emotional pitfalls. It wouldn't that different from the Azz's myth soap opera.
Fialkov as a huge potential. All he really needs is a chance in a more visible franchise, why not WW?
Mike Carey(XLegacy, Unwritten, Lucifer) can write intriguing stories while developing the context of the characters.
Last i heard, Dixon was in IDW G.I.Joe. Why him? Check BOP(which he launched), Nightwing(also launched), Robin(yeah, him again).
Kieron Gillen work in Journey into Mystery is brilliant( often described as a Vertigo title in Marvel), and his Uncanny is so far good.
Rememder(X-force, Last days of american crime, Venom) feat of writing a team of characters(Xforce) i couldn't stand into being one of the best books out there is no minor thing. Besides, is he much darker then Rucka, Azz or Snyder?
Gage (AAcademy, Absolution, XLegacy) can write dark, light stories with great emotional balance and interesting plot.
Jeff Parker(RHulk, ThunderBolts, Agents of Atlas) turned Red Hulk into a actual readable character, his Tbolts are excelent and AoAtlas was a wasted gem.
Besides, some of the best WW stories(IMHO) are darker in tone: Gods and Mortals, Paradise Lost, Eyes of the Gorgon, Hiketea, The Circle. I think she can take very well(darker tone doesn't require anti-hero or villain behaviour, that a 90's creative pitfall).
Best DC: Animal Man, Wonder Woman, Batman.
Best Marvel: Daredevil.
Best Independent: Walking Dead, Saga, Mind a Gap.
The one and only...Ann Nocenti. With Chiang continuing on illustration.
That said, DC better do everything in their power to keep Chiarello on WW, bloody hell!

I'd like Azz-Chiang to stay for a couple of years and flesh out this new WW before someone else comes along, whoever that is. This new WW is critically and fan acclaimed and it sells very well. But Azz has barely started setting the rules, and creating this new universe for her, so i think he and Chiang should stay at least till they finish doing that.
So this thread is quite premature to say the least.
While I don't think the current team will change unless critical acclaim or/and sales figures start dropping, the only one I want to take over right now is Morrison.

Yeah, I really hope Azz and Chiang stay on at least as long as Perez did, or longer, in order to really cement the new paradigm for the series.
50 issues would make me very happy.
