Heather Cameron, AKA Lifeguard. An Australian lifeguard (creative naming, huh?) with the power to develop any physical mutation she needs to save someone's life. It's instinctive, for the most part, but Sage jump-started her during the Invasion and mode-locked her into that winged form.

I think carrying a gun full-time runs counter to who Storm is, but I do like that she can make use of them when she has to.

Bendis can't hurt a character like Cap. He is one of the foundations of Marvel. He is prominent in everything he gets close to. Even when just being mentioned by other characters in passing, you can imagine violins and loud regal horns blaring in unison with his name. Storm has been in the background for a while. Bendis is not helping. From the start I have been saying that Bendis has a way of making powerful females into mere plot devices. I hate to say I told y'all so, but I did. Wait a minute!?! I didn't hate that at all!! A chance to bash Bendis can only be a good thing.

I said the same thing actually. yes Bendis can hurt Cap, he's doing it now. Yes its worse than what he's done to Storm.

Anyways, in the American southeast, there were quite a violent bunch of deadly tornadoes that swept through last night. While the death and destruction is nothing to be excited about, one can't help but be taken aback by the raw beauty of nature unleashed.

Yup! I like Viper. I was hoping for a fight between her and Storm in this Avengers story arc (but that hope dissipated quickly!), seeing as how Viper's follow-up revenge attack on Storm's team with her nuke failed. I thought she would make a good antagonist, more so in the h2h fighting and criminal mastermind aspect, for Storm.
