great drawing! That is yet another avenue of tales to be told about Ororo, her mystical heritage and strong potential to wield magic! I cannot believe that Marvel would pass up this lucrative opportunity to make money since its seems its the only thing they care about now! There are sooooo many story lines out there that Claremont started and these writers today only care about telling their own RIDICULOUS CRAPPY BADLY written stories! Goddess its soooo frustrating that the reason why the current roster of mutli-million making movies are because of the fact that as children/young adults WE faithfully bought these comic books and helped keep them in publication! WHY, because we loved the charecters that they created and kept spending our dollars to keep the stories coming and they care not one bit to try to remain true to these charecters we grew up loving and idolizing!!!!! *thunder would rumble and shake the world and lightening would streak and scar the sky, if I had the awesome power that Ororo wields cuz I am mad as hell and her powers are connected to her emotions although every current writer has seemed to COMPLETELY forgotten/ignored this fact!!!* When was the last time that Storm actually was shown to lose control because yes writers she keeps a tight reign on her emotions cuz all hell would break lose!!!

It was the combination phrase "my bitch" which I found distasteful, perhaps because I've recently been reading about this particular case and I find it so dismaying when people proudly dismiss women like that.

The attitude of possession towards a female character leds us down a very strange road, and it doesn't help when it's a character like Storm; and a common discussion is whether Marvel view her as a possession for Cyclops, T'Challa, or whoever - or as a character in her own right. If we can't treat her as her own character and not as an asset to be owned by various male characters, then how can we expect Marvel to?
