Foolish insolence! I need not defend my assessment, you would be better off researching before passing judgement.

I recommend Fall of the Mutants, where Storm shoots lightning from her eyes at the Adversary, for example.

Storm's power is psionic, she can manifest her powers in any way her mind chooses. She can make lightning happen anywhere on the world at any time, as she showed Cyclops when she blasted him out of the sky over America from Africa! Hand gestures are purely theatrical.
