I find it strange there are so many people complaining about the amount of books Storm will be in. Where were these people's complaints when Cyclops, Emma, and Wolverine were dominant in the X-books for the past half decade, to the near detriment of every other character? Storm has done very little and has not appeared in many X-books for a while now. I see nothing wrong with Marvel trying to correct that horrendous mistake. I understand the worries about characterization, but it's not like Storm is going to be a main focus in nearly half the books she will be appearing in. I only see her being a major player in UXF and possibly X-Men. Seems like a petty complaint to me.

People complained about those three quite a bit. It's just what happens.

Speaking for myself only...I do not care about Cyclops, Emma and Whoreverine...and I have not bought any books that feature them.

As was pointed out...Storm may not be the main focus in all but one/two books which is wot's important to me...her being (one of) the central characters of the book. As such, and as wonderful as it may be...her making panel appearances in the five/six other titles (shooting lightning and wot not) is...meh.

I am quite happy that you all will be buying all the books in which she appears, though. And will prepare to be entertained by all the posts of mis-characterisation, and wall-paperism. (Or not.)

I want to care about Logan again because I used to like him. But I agree, I would like to see her actually have some relevance in the plot and drive the narrative based off choices she's being written to make. Plus i actually want to see her have to come up with new ways to express her opinions and actually command again by sheer force of will. I miss that.

I definitely complained about Cyclops, Emma, and Wolverine in every book. Storm and Psylocke, on the other hand, I mind not one bit. I do hope that this opportunity isn't squandered with bad writing though. Storm has far too often suffered under the pen of impotent writers (Fraction, Bendis).

And it seems as though this will only happen in UXF and X-M.

It is from a pornographic fan art where Storm is spanking Mystique and asking Kitty for her brush to spank her with it. I found the art lovely.
