"Because I said so" never worked on any of them (until Marvel decided it did), and Storm always made sure it was understood why she would be followed. She knew her team; she could always persuade, intuit, and intimidate them (if it came down to it) much better than Scott.
This would also be cool. I'd love to see Muir Island again. Bonus points for an interactive hologram of Moira to serve as mission control alongside Sage. :D
i can be with this idea

Plus, given her powers, none are better suited to grooming Idie then the mistress of the elements herself!
I am so glad he did not bring her into X-Men...Idie has got to be the worst character to be introduced in recent X-history. Her constant self loathing is beyond vomitous and tedious and to hear her whine about it just does not make for interesting reading...not to me it doesn't. I was completely tired of her by the second time she called herself a "monster".

I would definitely go with Nehzno over Oya.

Yeah, I don't read WaTX, but from some scans I've seen of her interacting with Broo and QQ, she's come a long way.

Like Dearest BeBee, I do not read WatXM...but I still do not care about the character, no matter how much better she is being written. Nehzno ftw.

Story-wise...I would actually prefer a Storm who had command over a much larger group of superheroes other than mutants.

    I'm seeing parallels here...

First Halle Berry gets hit by her man and then Storm gets hit by her man!

I love Black Panther but the writers have to stop with these awkward moments in comic book history!

Ju-jitsu other wise known as the gentle art has various submission holds that could be applied to submit even women who control the weather!

A simple Tap Out or Pass Out and then continue the heated discussion in a more civil manner later!

A man should go out of his way to not harm his wife under any circumstances!

I'm not blaming Black Panther fans or Storm fans on this one that is poor architecting and inconsiderate plotting!

    Next!!!

    Alternate cover for X-Men #30:

    LIKE A BOSS!

Sorry if it's been posted before, just had to say that. :P

Heard on the "3 Chicks Review Comics - Episode 041" podcast, in an interview with Brian Wood, that he's tentatively only scheduled for eight issues of "X-Men"...! But that they're playing it by ear. I really hope he can stay on it for a long time.

BB why you calling people bitches when the proper term is beyotches!

    Circumvent the system!

This public service announcement was brought to you by The Weather Channel... Constantly keeping track of Storm Goddess and all that she does!

So when are Storm and Black Panther going on their second honeymoon I miss all that tornadically intertwined sensuality!

I think Moira would be honored. It's official, then--Muir Isle with Storm in full command!

I just LOVE this look for her. I really hope wood incorporates it into the story at some point. So far, he has my vote to stay on the title. He did a excellent job of WATX Alpha and Omega as well.
