Is there any part of the displeasure with the marriage that is tied to the fact that BP is an Avenger?
And so many X-Fans hold the Avengers to a level of accountability for the current condition the Mutant race is in?

Yeaaaaahhh....I'm thinking more full fledged woman and LESS teeny-bopper favorite. I liked Zoe as Calypso in the second Pirates of the Caribbean, but exceptional actress? Ever heard of Meryl Streep, Hellen Mirren, or Charlize Theron? THEY are exceptional. Zoe is okay. Yet to prove her mettle. An unknown with an amazing acting gift is better than a known actress with skill that is slightly above average.
Kat Graham is amazing? Really? She spends half the show looking bewildered and mourning for whoever dies in this weeks sappy episode. Now that I'm done I can focus on actual shows like Madmen or Game of Thrones. Sheesh! Today's youth.

That would only be true if the opposing sides were that rational. As a lover of both characters I can only say it has to do with them being written out of character. BP and Ororo's fans could care less about the dynamics of the teams. We are just in a power struggle with two strong personalities that have failed to compliment each other. As a Storm fan I feel she has lost herself in this marriage, and as a BP fan I feel he has been represented as (ridiculously so) an insecure and distant man. A complete loss all around and total failure on Marvel's part.
Thanks, afropolo.

When I said "exceptional" actress, this is what I meant. Maybe exceptional wasn't the best word to use for what I was trying to describe. I never meant that she was anywhere near the best or even all that great to begin with. I'm simply fitting everything into a single frame and I think she fits the profile.
All three actresses you mentioned would never be able to play a role as Storm.
I disagree, and even if she does, why wouldn't she look bewildered? The whole world she is living in is completely new to her and she's lost several people that she's loved. Considering the conditions she's been under I don't see how you could have expected her to act any different in those situations. I think she has shown the skill to portray all sorts of convincing acting abilities. Regalness, fear, anxiety, sadness, sorrow, and power. She is simply amazing, don't blame her if the writers are too lazy to give her more than she should have.![]()
Let's just go for Zoe since she has a lot of fans.
Ororo Munroe: I have no powers, my body cannot fly. But I no longer mind, for in my heart and soul -- where it truly matters -- I soar higher than the stars!
Honestly, compared to Zoe and Kat I have to wonder. That is saying a lot considering I am comparing old white women with young black women. Honestly, I don't want another pretty but weak and overly girly Storm on the big screen. I need someone who looks nice, but would have the gravitas to make folks tremble. It would truly hurt me if we got Halle part 2.
As far as Kat Graham....if you say so sweetie. Now finish your breakfast and get ready for school.
I actually want the director of the Ororo Munroe movie to include Storm fans to show up on the movie like me. heheheh : )

I would love to see it... It needs to happen, as someone else said, its a reason for their marraige to end! I can't see it being extreme, ya know, stuff happens. They both chose different sides and will fight to protect it, so it makes sense from them to fight it each other. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be like an abusive relatioship fight then I might be disturb.

Must I explain sarcasm to the youth? Oh, if you could measure the depths from which I sigh! I thought sarcasm was instinctual for you young folk? Okay let me take it a step further. I want to see Storm played by the dual acting team of Chaz Bono and Morgan Freeman. They can represent a sort of asexual representation of Storm. They can fart onscreen to represent lightning and every time Morgan's knees creak that can be used as wind. Or is that the other way around? Once again, Sheesh!!
