We don't know each other. If you type the words "Storm is not Magik", I'm going to interpret that as "Storm is not Magik". Forgive me for not reading into your verbosity. Its text.

The point I was apparently failing to make is that suspicion or concern is understandable, however misguided the individual expressing said concern may be, GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THAT MOMENT.

I said Storm is not Magik, not "You said Storm was Magik". There is a big difference in context to those two sentences. You assumed something before realizing the true intentions of what I meant. If you read my whole post correctly you would have realized I was explaining that Storm would be treated differently, not that you were saying that Storm was Magik.

I was aware of your point, but I don't agree that Magneto as a character would have approached Storm that way at all. Not with all of the points I just made. Storm isn't some random X-men. She is one of it's top leaders and should be treated as such. I am happy the whole thing was thrown out.

Storm has not been with the X-Men in years, she's married to T'Challa who is siding with the Avengers. Of course her loyalties would be questioned. If Beast and Wolverine defected.

Umm Storm has been with the X-men, what are you talking about? And Beast and Wolverine turned their backs on that team, Storm didn't after realizing she was the only person who could keep them in check. That should account for something.

Yes, of course it counts for something, but it also makes PERFECT AND LOGICAL SENSE that Magneto would want to make sure who's side she's on, considering her HUSBAND is part of the other team and she's also now an AVENGER.

Storm could have told him to get the fuck out of her face and she'll always be an X-Man first, people would have loved that. But that still doesn't take away from the fact that scene is perfectly logical.

Umm that wasn't asking, it was a premeditated attack if she didn't say the right things. It's different and Magneto should be aware of Storm's loyalties. She's been with the X-men for too many years.

But Magneto hasn't been a member of the x-men for too many years. Besides, we know Magneto's character and attitude. Just like Emma.

I agree with you. Storm's husband is with the avengers which Storm is also a member.

Storm could also be a perfect traitor. Just like Perfect Storm in X-men Forever. But I don't want it to happen though. : )

I don't agree with you so stop trying to disprove my opinion as illogical. And again, T'challa was not apart of the Avengers until they had the Hope meeting, which at that point Storm left the damn team to be with the X-men before the two teams had even fought each other. And again, she did one mission with the team and now everyone is ready to believe she is ready to turn traitor after being loyal to the X-men for countless years! It's a joke and her role as an Avenger has been a joke...

And Namor has affiliation with the Avengers, I don't see Magneto walking around with a syringe following close behind his neck.

He was not with the Avengers at that point, he had insisted Cap to put Storm on the team instead. and again, when has Storm chosen her husband over the X-men? Worlds Apart made it very clear that she is equally loyal to both.

Storm isn't Magik for starters, she is one of the core X-men who have been nothing but loyal to the team. She's been there much longer than both of them, and for him to even imply that she would side with the Avengers after just recently getting membership is beyond laughable. If anything it should be Storm holding a syringe behind his neck and questioning his true intention for joining the X-men. He has absolutely no right or authority to be questioning anyone on the team...

Storm didn't know the Avengers would attack the X-men though, that was something her husband and the Avengers neglected to tell her. If anything T'challa wasn't loyal to his own Wife, not the other way around. The point is the Avengers didn't attack until after her loyalties were questioned by the Avengers, so there is really no point in questioning her loyalties with the X-men when they were quite clear from the beginning.

It's really not about the circumstances under which she would have been questioned.
It's about a writer actually thinking that her loyalties should be questioned...at all. And by Magneto, no less.

But like I said...moot point.
