I have reason to believe that at least 95 of Storm's losses are Black Panther's fault but I can't prove it yet.

Did Claremont having her tied up on a regular basis also count as losses?

What about the uncontrollable fainting spells she always succumbed to?

Did they include the movie and cartoon losses in that record?

those 105 losses of Storm are all wins of BP cos whenever Storm and BP play fighting, Storm always loses against him. hehehe : )

I'm just making light of all the Black Panther hate where misinformation has certain fans thinking her problem is the marriage when the numbers prove otherwise.

If she is so watered down as a wife then how do you account for a 55% win percentage before her walking down the aisle?

You did know that the other side of that Harvey Dent coin means she gets whipped 45% of the time right?

I don't know the record of Superman vs Lex Luthor or Spiderman vs Doctor Octopus or James Bond vs Dr. No but I'm sure they are all above 55%.

Do the math!

While I agree that Logan and The One True Storm is my (VASTLY!!!) preferred pairing of choice, I don't really see how it ties in to her connection with Broo.

Have you been reading Wolverine and the X-men? Broo is a student at the JGI. It is obvious he (Broo) sees Storm as an adult who cares for him. And as for Storm and Logan, why would anyone want to pollute such a powerful friendship with all that relationship muck?

I personally don't blame BP or his universe for poor writing. It's just that her marriage happens to be a RESULT of said poor writing. Since they have been together it has been one rancid stinker after the next. How is it possible to produce such banal garbage with two of the most interesting characters in the Marvel Universe? When you look at the sublime perfection of BP's run under Priest, you have to wonder whats up. Storm's days as the X-men's badass leader seem unreal in comparison to this ersatz black barbie we are seeing. The higher ups at Marvel don't care about the marriage, you expect everyone else to? Last time I checked, math had very little to do with the more spontaneous creative aspects of art.

He Does. He just can't stand BP hate as an excuse for the more recent shortcomings in Ororo's characterization. I get where he is coming from without agreeing with him in totality. The blame game is an easy one.

I am never going to listen to the back of a card when I can go read back issues. Not only that but I am way more concerned with great story telling and you know what, the 80-05s gave us that. Too bad the Panther series really did not give us any.

It's such a straw man argument. It seems to me the only thing you care about is Storm the wife and not what she was before or what she can become. You never talk about her apart from the marriage and that's weird for someone that says they care so much about the character. Find another angle other than talking about the joke.

She had to go to Wakanda because it is not safe for her being tied up and fondled all the time as an X-men.
