    You know, I'm just now realizing that I've read 45 comics so far this month, and yet I was impressed with only seven of them. Something is very wrong with the stories I am picking...

    I was aiming for 800 this year, but I've fallen back in love with classic novels as of last week, so they will now be competing for my reading time. Right now, I'm halfway through A Tale of Two Cities.

    Updated my list in post #5 of this thread. YTD total now at 476. I am still holding out hope I can break 1000 for the year, but 1500 seems out of reach...

    Best classic comic recently read-the first handful of issues of Mike Grell's Warlord.
    Most interesting recent comic read: Brubaker's Fatale and Abnett & Lanning's Hypernaturals.

    New numbers up 7/7/12.

    This week, I completed my indexes of the Silver/Bronze Age runs of Action, Batman, Detective and Superman. That's every issue of those titles, including Annuals and Specials, published between 1955 and mid-1986. Pretty darned pleased with myself over that, I am.
