I'd imagine, if trained, a tiger would be very beneficial in a zombie apocalypse. Feed it with walker flesh.

Exactly.
Not only would a trained tiger be very beneficial when it comes to protecting the "king", since tigers will eat decayed flesh when there's not a fresh kill available, and animals seem immune to whatever it is that brings back the dead, it could easily be fed walkers, which means the tiger wouldn't be a drain on resources.
Besides, there are plenty of people in TWD that are a drain on resources and have contributed very little, if contributed at all. And that brings me to something else that happened in the latest issue. Spencer's totally up to no good, obviously, the question is will he go gunning for Andrea, Rick or both of them? And he's been nothing but a drain on resources and a thorn in Andrea and Ricks side. I'm hoping what we saw in the latest issue is the beginning of the end of Spencer.

Anyone else getting a less evil Norman Arminger vibe from King Ezekiel?
Norman Arminger
Right now he reminds me more of a cross between Tina Turner's character in Thunderdome, and Malcom McDowell's character in Doomsday, except they both were assholes and so far, so far, Ezikel is on the side of the good guys. I haven't read the latest issue, so if anything has changed in regards to him helping Rick, I'm not aware of it.
Anyone think it could be a trap?.. Ezekiel and Negan working together..? ;)
Walking Dead 109 was a bit of a snooze, cliffhanger was kinda weak as well (but has potential to have the whole thing explode if the reason Jesus is angsty is because that wall guarding guy is gonna rat them out). Not that I don't mind talking head issues but there was a distinct lack of tension in this one, aside from maybe that one page with Rick facing off against the son of the guy who used to run the community (who I had completely forgotten about as well)
My only issue with #109 was that both copies shipped to me had a pretty severe crease in the cover, went to the CS and every copy they had, had the same issue. But other than that issue, I thought it was a great issue that gave readers a bit more info about Jesus, had a solid cliffhanger ending, and made it more than obvious Spencer is going to do something stupid.

It was great seeing Maggie and Sophia again. I assumed that they would be written out...glad I was wrong. Kal...that little bastard. I hope Negan and the Saviors don't torch the Community--but I think it's not going to be pretty. Maybe Jesus will catch up and off him, like Rick did Martinez.
Ezekiel is awesome. He's so ridiculous, but he's got that presence. He's a leader. The tiger? Nice. TWD hasn't jumped the shark, just mockingly laughed at it. I imagine Ezekiel's voice like Robert Guillaume (yes, I'm that old).
Spencer...he's going to seriously screw things up if he's acting the fool. I have a really bad feeling that he's going to do something quite terrible to Andrea. But this situation is so unpredictable now...that's why I love this series.

Damn, its slow which always makes me worry that a bloodbath is going to happen soon. I really hope Spencer doesn't fuck things up too bad. I don't want any more main characters to die for a while. We've lost so many the last couple years that I want to see the ones left survive for a while.
Michonne being tired and ready to stop kinda worries me. I hope this isn't the beginning of her end.

With the potential addition of the LARPers (thats hilarious) and the Hilltop, plus maybe some Saviors...yah, it seems like the main cast is going to get thinned out again.
