It would be jarring to shift at this point after more than 90 issues without them.

yes, mostly that. plus, there's enough damn talking already!!![]()
That and they are cheesy and don't fit in TWD. :P I don't mind it as much in carefree superhero fare, but not in TWD.
After thinking about it I do agree that they just wouldn't fit in TWD but not because they're cheesey but because after 90+ issues its just too late.
Speaking of the Walking Dead, the first episode of the telltale game came out today and I'm currently playing it. According to Telltale the story is totally canon and it deals with this new guy who is being driven to prison just as the outbreak kicks in, and there are ambulances and cop cars zooming into the city to deal with the outbreak. At first I was a lil let down that the lead character wasn't Rick or Andrea but since it started off earlier into the outbreak, that made up for it. It is a point and click adventure game, which may turn off those who are into shoot em up action games, but it works better that way since TWD isn't a shoot em up action comic.
In short, I think its worth dropping 25 on if ones a fan and digs games.

Anyone here try the game yet? Glenn is in it for about the third act. It's pretty fun, going to play the first part again using different choices.
I AM FOREVER- Master Shake
I mean I liked Face-Off, but I didn't go to college either.
Telltale is a game company that makes episodic video games.

They're usually made for the 360, PS3, PC, and Mac, and every now and again the Ipad.
I havent been to my comics shop for a over a month so i got issue 95-96 at the same time. Man they were the most interesting for long time. Jesus group being like that was a real surprise. Weak leader, tight big group that lived pretty well even if they are not cut for the surviving outside the walls like Rick said. Rick speech was awesome sort of a i have dream kind of speech.
Cant wait to see how dangerous that sicko group will be. I would take surviving sickos veteran like Rick over 10 Governor sick leader types.
Speaking about which ones you cares most about surviving. Rick is only the one who must survive at this point and time. I cares most for Glenn,Andrea, Carl,Michone,Abraham. The first three being old members of Team Grimes and Abraham is good right hand to Rick. Michone having grow well as a mellow type sheriff of the group and not just cool swordswoman she was before.
Maggie i cant even remember what i cared for her. She has become a housewife that is scared of the world. Not like Maggie was before. Kirkman has almost killed off her character, she is only an example of mentally tired member of the group.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
I am playing now as well, I love it. This is the type zombie game I have wanted, I don't want a shooting game like Left 4 dead, etc. the resident evil games, 1 and 2 mostly, we're the closest to this. This is like playing the comic, posts of character interaction and drama. Oh, Hersh is in the game too and the game explains how his son ends up in the barn, as seen in the comic way back!
Prepare for War!
I am pumped for the future of The Walking Dead. With it releasing every 3 weeks to issue 100, and the promised action awaiting us, I can't wait to get my paws on it. The time seems to be ripe for a change in status quo, I think Kirkman is really going to shake things up in the land of walkers. Anyone taking bets on losses?
The 1st episode of the game is pretty good, easily worth the 5 bucks. I'm intrigued to see what really happened with Lee pre-zombie apocalypse.
I'm playing it through a second time making different choices.
And I'm hoping Lee does reveal what really happened pre-zombie. I think he really did kill the guy, I just think there's more to why he did it than just infidelity.
Two days until #97. The calm before the storm. I was leery of Abraham forcibly taking charge, but Abe knows that they need their leader.

That isn't the real cover, is it?
I think I'm going to pick up that book of unused ideas that they've been advertising in the back pages.
Oh, and they hear a motorcycle in the distance. Maybe a chopper?
