Aw. Poor Williams. I must recognize I did not read Daken though, not my type of character.
And Jhonny Storm is alive again? already?
The reveal of the kingpin of L.A. in Daken #20... let's just say Mr. Akihiro is going to have his hands full. Donna Kiel, less so spoilers:end of spoilers.

Poor, poor Daken, #20 just hurt. He was trying really hard to get the girl, got her flowers and everything...but, yeah, that's just horrible.
... wow, that interview paired with issue #20 itself has me REALLY bummed about this cancellation.
Consistently one of my favorite books through 2011. I really wish we could see Williams' longer-term plan for Daken, but maybe it's for the best to have everything culminate in a shorter order while it's a more digestible arc.
I'll be very interested to see where Daken turns up next, provided he doesn't die (and I can't imagine Marvel would kill him outright). He doesn't play very well with others, and he's not a great conventional villain either. I really hope he doesn't wind up in Thunderbolts.

I really, really loved this issue. The art was just beautiful, if only because it was so "normal". Daken and Donna both looked like normal people, which, when you looked at it, complimented the subject matter nicely.
What's weird, I'd hate to say it, but dammit if I couldn't relate to Daken in this issue. In his mind, Donna should love him, should want to be with him, because they are both so alike. But that, as I'm still trying to figure out, doesn't always mean someone will love you back. In the end, she just couldn't love him.
I think this is the natural order of things, really. Life was going to catch up to him sooner or later, and it's catching up to him now. Daken and Logan, I think, are just tragic characters.
So when is he going kill bucky before turning antihero like his papa
I dont usually say this about characters that i collect but I kinda want Daken to really die at the end of this book. it would be a good cap to this book. Otherwise he may turn into yet another antaginist for wolvie appearing sporadicly. While thats not a bad thing i think dieing after confronting Logan again would be great
X-Fan Forever
I think that's the best thing for him until writers can figure out what to do with him. He should just be left to die for a few years, then he'll be brought back as a Hand-zombie and then redeemed and made an X-Men, but it will be interesting to see how the effects of Warren dying, Deadpool dying, and Daken dying, along with the deaths of his other children, effect Wolverine.
Kinda ironic that Daken's dying just as Sabretooth's coming back. I wonder if he'll pass him on the way down. But I kinda gotta wonder, after this if Daken is gonna stay dead or if they'll bring him back years from now.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.
