Disappointing about it ending but I hope Asmus continues to work with the X-Books in the future and that the Blue Side X-Kids get some chance to shine in a new title.

asmus has given us some really quality story-telling since he took over generation hope. i'm pretty confident he'll be getting more marvel/x-work fairly soon! good luck, asmus.

Sorry, Asmus. The new x-men fans did this to Young X-Men, as well. This time they were joined by a bitter Jean Grey fan contingent who were convinced that Hope should be boycotted and the series shit-talked. Olewell. It's how the cookie crumbles.

The book and Asmus deserved more time. I hope the characters don't go into limbo now.

So start a letter-writing campaign to Marvel to get me writing all the young Utopians in "Generation X-Men!"
Relaunch the book as this and it'll sell more.

    I'm digging Pixie's outfit.

When's Gage going to do one of these? Is he avoiding it because of the unmentionable issue that ruins every XML thread?

This was my favourite x book, sad to see it go. But I hope to be able to pick up a new James Asmus comic in the future - please keep him around x editorial.

I would like to see more work from James Asmus. I like his thought/creative process and how he deduces the characters and their place in concert with the story. And he's passionate to boot. I hope to emulate this in my own writing.

His Escape from the Negative Zone was so much fun and I got the same vibe from his Generation Hope issues. I didn't particularly like his Hope, but I liked that I didn't like her. She is the center of attention, but not necessarily the most pleasant person. It felt much more real to me instead of making her a one-note messiah good girl.

What a bummer! This series has been wonderful (aside from the first 3 issues) and Asmu's issues have been out of this world. That stuff with Dragoness and her gang was awesome! PLEASE let him write Generation X-Men. That's a great title! I'd be all over it!

I hope that there will be a "new series" launching out of AvX written by him, about the younger generation students.

I also get the feeling that one of the Lights+add ons will die, possibly Martha or Laurie.

Looks wonderful. I am offended at the ridiculous caption.

Two conjoined forces of bitterness from two of the more arch fanbases in the x-verse, that was too much to overcome. The book shone bright and burned out fast. No better way to live.

Here's to a new youth X book rising from the ashes of Jean fans yet again denied.
