Augie's review of the recently-collected 'Wolverine and Jubilee' miniseries quickly turns into an appreciation of Tom Orzechowski's lettering.

"Today's more economical writing style is done for collected editions, assuming people will know everything that's come before because it's under the same set of covers. Mostly."

The irony of this comment is that this article had to clarify that Jubes is a vampire now.

Its a shame they dont also collect Uncanny #251-2, which is when she began the bond with Logan and proved herself as a character. And it would still make sense now, with the Reavers and Gateway appearing in xforce of late. Tho that would probably highlight that she is basically a completey different character now...

    Default Silvestri X-Men work

A lot of Silvestri's Uncanny X-Men work has been collected in Omnibus or OHC form. Pretty much everything from the Fall of the Mutants to the end of his run has been collected in Fall of the Mutants, Inferno, X-Men by Claremont and Lee Vols. 1 and 2 and X-Tinction Agenda. I must say, they are marvelously done and I recommend all of them to any X-fan.

As I remember it, Jubilee spent much of her time hiding out with no one knowing she was there except for Gateway who didn't speak a word about it. Infact, he only seemed to speak to her. Then the X-Men were run off and Wolverine returned from his big adventure to be crucified on a big 'X'.

What an iconic cover that was!
