Can I get some opinions on IDW's The Complete Torpedo? Is this any good?

i've read volume one, and volume two is currently shipping. i'm enjoying them, it's nothing mindblowing, and the dialogue can be a bit corny (not sure if that's the right term). i'm mainly picking them up for the art because of jordi bernet.

I'd really prefer this series in an omnibus. The definitive volumes are nice, but I want more story per $ on this one instead of the definitive treatment.

Sort of, eg. the english version that was published 18 months ago now gets its american release. But that's a good thing for everyone with a shorter reach.

The Complete Torpedo? It is probably better then about 80% of your current collection. I'm being a litte bit conservative here with this estimate.

I'll give it a try. I enjoyed the art from what I've seen of it.

I thought it was okay, not something I would recommend to everyone. A little confusing, but maybe I missed a clue or two.

I can see that, but they aren't tooooo expensive. Absolute sized for 75 bucks for 14-15 issues is pretty good, though volume 4 and 5 was/will be 95, but they're also collecting closer to 20 issues

I want to ask you, if The Boys Definitive editions are worth buying. They have sewn or glue binding? I read some negative reviews about the quality of the editions on amazon. I really want to buy them since Volume one will get a reprint and i prefer oversize books than regular tpb.

I was wary about the production of them when I was looking to buy then too, but I've had no issues at all with my 3 volumes(4 is still wrapped). They're absolute sized too.
