It's getting a little worrisome how many cancellations are going around...

I only read the first issue of Moon Knight and it didn't really stick with me, but i'd buy an OHC of 1-12 for maleev's artwork. Make it happen Marvel! ( probably will not happen).
Currently recommending: Daredevil, Mudman ( it's back!), Hawkguy, and FF. Can't miss!

A pity. I haven't really read the comics recently but I always find the character relatively interesting yet for some reason he just can't hold a series. Wonder what will happen to him now... limbo or being part of a team or guest appearances.

Is this the first Marvel book that Bendis was writing that was cancelled?

    Curious,

"It was not a mini series. I was being coy. Alex and I signed on for the year," Bendis continued in a later post. "But what it costs to keep me and Alex on a book, it was clear that was all they would need from us. I hoped it would keep going with some new talent or something, but it isn't. Sad face. Very proud of the book. You're going to get a big story out of it."

Starting to see where that extra dollar is going to on the Avengers. Maybe if they get some new talent we can go back to $2.99.

So does Bendis get paid more than other writers. Anyone can sell a book with every big name character on it. The guy obviously fails like anyone else when he's off the Avengers so why does he get paid more.

Thanks to Bendis and Maleev for a cool, intriguing take on one of my favorite characters. That it didn't set the world on fire sales wise, oh well. Many of my favorite comic runs have been short-lived. Just because a title doesn't have the longevity of a FF or ASM doesn't mean it wasn't worth doing. I hardly ever buy trades but I'll pick this run up when it's collected. I just hope we won't have to wait too long for MK to get another shot at a solo title.

Maybe he's getting paid more because he made the Avengers a franchise when it was barely able to sustain readers on a single book. We get it, you don't like the writer but plenty of other people do and that's why he gets paid more then other writers.

Yes. These books are total failures, critically and commercially.
