Lost nods and opens a shimmering rift befoer them. The Alaphim, Lost, and Rebecca enter the rift and immedietly find themselves back in the Realm of Dreams, the depressing grey sky and battle pocked landscape meeting their eyes.

In the distance, Fate's tower looms up by the sea, a silent sentinel in the desolate wasteland.

"Honey," Olivia says wryly, "We're home."

"I'm tempted to blow that tower down and talk to Fate after she drags herself out of the rubble." Jason says, with a sneer.

Kyle chuckles. "Before or after she calls her lawyer and insurance agent?"

Calisor floats up and looks around before nodding.

"My magics are protecting us right now, so she can't see us. However, that won't last long. I suggest we get a move on if we wish to retain the element of suprise."

"Well, lets go get her then." Olivia says and takes off toward the tower.

"What a shitty day."

Sighing loudly to himself as he plopped on the grass with an unceremonious thud, Drake closed his eyes, before sliding his arms beneath his head.

As annoying as disclosing his Alaphim heritage--or lack thereof--was, it was probably for the best. He lacked the inclination at this point to bother trying to conceal what his really was, gods known for being spiteful and petty be damned.

Even if they were displeased with him, they no doubt had much bigger fish to fry than a lowly human.

And it would have likely have been pointless sooner or later. While only one of the others had managed to piece things together, it seemed it was more a minor detail for Fate and the Xiroc he had encountered to discover.

Drake frowned slightly, as the sun--or atleast he assumed it was the sun-- beamed down upon him. As a dome of Darkness spread around his person, he let out a sigh of relief.

While still feeling much, much weaker than he would, beset by an almost malicious headache, the darkness did its part to restore him to some manner of what he was, and take the sting off of things.

"Much better...."

Of course, that was a minor detail, he supposed. Him being human was practically unimportant compared to the Xiroc's ambition.

And of course, that Blue Eyed Abominations habit of destroying.....well, everything, if he could be taken at his word.

While it was great that Fate might or might not be trying to kill the Alaphim--with Drake being close enough to fall under that umbrella it seemed--the fact that they now faced a seemingly greater enemy did little to help his spirits.

There was one--slight--advantage that came out of the days ordeals.

Time to rest. It felt like ages since Drake had simply gotten time to sit down and collect his thoughts, what with being sling shooted from one place to the next, or hunted down no sooner than he could fall asleep.

So, while possibly being trapped withing another dimension was not a 'good' thing, it at the very least gave Drake time to think, something that had long been needed.

Of course, it was somewhat difficult to think with a massive headache doing its best to finish the job the consumption of wine had started.
