Well upon reading the issue there may be some validity to your thoughts in that after the building in issue #4 Starling's aim is clearly off, suggesting that her hand is still broken but Choke's mind tricks are having her ignore the real physical pain.

It's also possible the real Batgirl showed up in #4 to the group but under Choke's control but a fake showed up to the group in #5 but Choke is having their brains (except Ivy's) see her as Batgirl.

Crap, this is getting as weird as Batman's hallucinations in the Leviathan series.

Oh well another 1-2 issues and everything will be made all clear (although I thought DC promised no more multi-issue arcs in their comics post-nu52, oh well again it's totally like DC to go back on something they said all the time).

Anyway, looks like I was wrong, your probably right in some form. Interesting issue in terms of the mystery but I hope it does get wrapped up soon.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

I will add my agreement here, and also say that the writing is excellent and keeps me looking forward impatiently to the next issue. It's my second favorite title right now.

The imposters cannot physically morph in Batgirl, they can only do it in chameleon like instances, doppelganger Batgirl is either an imposter or a hallucination, I’m quite confused as to what exactly the Batgirl is? Hell I don’t even know if the girls are awake or a sleep.
    Love the book!

They never said that. What they said is that they told their writers to not worry about "writing for the trade" since the editors will handle how the issues gets collected. That doesn't mean that writers aren't gonna write multi-issue arcs, but now they shouldn't have to worry about padding the story out and create filler.

Thats funny cause Eric Wallace in an interview said something different
he originally planed the first arc to last 5 issues and the 2nd one to last 3-4
and he was suggested to compress it for the trade

My verdict? The best this title has ever been. Yes, better than either Chuck or Gail's runs.

So glad I ended up buying #1 after all - that could have been bad.

Wow! That's great to hear. I didn't even there was that new mandate in effect for the new 52.

I really wasn't expecting to like the book, I tried issue #1 and wasn't sure I'd even pick up #2.

But I did, and #2 turned into #3... and now I'm loving this book more than I ever would have expected.

My only complaint is I'm not a big fan of the inking on the title... it seems a little too thick in some cases to my taste.

A helluva lot better than I expected. This is the best read i've had on BoP since Chuck Dixon.

I agree. Sometimes it looks like colored newsprint. A small gripe, though. I was a huge naysayer about the book at first, but I'm continuing to buy it each month. Gail's Canary is sorely missed, but I understand why she's in different hands at the moment.
