A year of acting classes should suffice.

She's awesome. But more I think about her I'd cast Gina as Barda. Scale her up with some movie magic. :)

    And so on.
Jackie Chan,Jason Statum,Jet Li,Sylvester Stallone,Jean claude Van Dame,Steven Segal,Arnold Schwarzenegger,Bruce Willis...name a great actor in the that bunch.I have watch Gino Carano whole career and i have watch her interviews and the stuff you said does not apply to her

This thread has taught me something no actor will be good enough and many you guys think that movie is going to need certain caliber of actor for a action movie and this why female action movies fail,The acting is solid but action scenes suck mainly because female lead can't do her action scenes and they are stuck using doubles and bad wire work that looks fake ala Black Widow in Iron Man 2.

Gina will give you believable action scenes which is most important thing for summer block buster movie,The acting is secondary as long as it is not so bad it brings down the movie,I watched Haywire Gina can do the job as wonder woman would she be my first choice? No I would pick Jessica Beil who is big enough star to bring people to movie theater and has done enough action movies has look competent in them and she is more than a good enough actor to get the job done but if they pick Carano she would bring a physicality to part that most woman actor couldn't and you need to believe Wonder Woman to be a bad ass if the movie is going to work.

I disagree about the idea of action over acting.

    Christopher Reeve-Superman
    Michael Keaton-Batman
    Christian Bale-Batman
    Toby Maguire-Spiderman
    Robert Downey -Iron Man

None of these performances (which are arguably the best superhero portrayals on film) were memorable because of the actor's ability to do backhandsprings holding onto a pair of nunchucks. They are memorable because somehow the actors managed to tap into the essence of what made the character unique and heroic. Also of the actors you mentioned, only one (Stallone) was ever a superhero. And that movie (Judge Dredd) tanked. Arnold did play a villain in the Batman series, but there was no action involved in his performance. A performance that was based pretty much entirely on his accent.

Gina Carano wouldn't get the role even if she were a good actress.

You're going to get a size zero and you're going to like it.

Gina Carano or Mills Knus are both good choices for WW

Theron is too old now. Milla Kunis is too petite.

I'm not pro-Carano but boy do I freakin' LOVE this costume. It's definitely the way to go for a big-screen WW. Wow! It captures all the elements of the classic costume without any cheese factor. Love the leather, love the Greek-inspired battle skirt, love the sandal-themed boots, and especially love how the stars are metallic and fierce. This costume if perfect!
