Please, god no. If we never see her again, it'll be too soon.

The girl with the new male character seems very Sherry-esque, complete with squeaky voice.

I'm really digging the return to classic Resident Evil, though. I didn't enjoy Resident Evil 4 at all, and Resident Evil 5's saving grace was co-op, but this looks to be really something to look forward to.

How long before allegations of racism pop up because most of the zombies look like white people?

    Sherry >>>>>>>>>>> xInfinity >>>>>> Ashley.

But since it's Claire who's got the close ties with Sherry and since the President was in the trailer, it'll probably be Ashley.

I don't really see any "return to classic Resident Evil" at all. You've got zombies and a scenario that seems like a repeat of Raccoon City. Those are enemies and situation, and nothing more.

RE4 mainly just replaced the lackluster gameplay of the early games, gave it in game graphics, and changed the type of location and scenario.

This game looks like RE4 set in Raccoon City, with some refinement to the shooting and what you can do in terms of dynamic actions.

Also looks like it will follow at least 3 stories, likely switching between the 3 during the course of it. Either that or its 3 separate games and you have to choose which one you're doing at the start.

I like Chris, but he's been all over the RE universe.
I agree with this. The RE women have always been more popular than the dull-as-dishwater men. Jill and Claire were far better than Leon and Chris.

I don't think he does. Just a bit older. Unless they ditch the hair, he'll always be a pretty boy to me.

Do the games follow the rule in the movies that if you are a female and have a cup size bigger than an A cup then you practically had a death sentence hanging over your head?

Considering NONE of the main female leads in Resident Evil have ever died in a game, I'm going with no.

I'm geniunely excited for Resident Evil 6. Personally, I loved 4, and had a ton of fun w/ RE5 when playing with friends/X-bros. 6 definetly looks like an excellent evolution for the series, although I'm not holding my breath for Billy or Rebecca to return, despite wanting them too. :/

Video game trailers that have more story than gameplay are stupid.

Well, since they haven't changed the core gameplay, just added some new features, I can see why.

Personally, I think the core gameplay should be changed.

So far, there are a lot of predictions as to who the new 'mercenary for hire' guy with Ashley is going to be. Some people think it's Billy, some people think it's hunk, and some people think it's Alex Wesker.

Alex was raised by Lord Oswell E. Spencer to become one of a superior breed of humans.[2][3] The project involved the abduction of a number of children thought to be of "superior" DNA. The children would then be given the surname Wesker in honor of the project's head researcher.[3] Alex made a report on Project W on 28 August 1998, which states that before Albert Wesker faked his death, the project was at a 94% rate of success, but after the news of his death, the project went down to just 18%.[4]

In Spencer's view, Alex was also one of his "loyal" remaining children that he had at his side.[2] The brightest of them all, in Spencer's view and words,"so adept at absorbing the talents of others simply by observing them."[5] Alex was conducting experiments at the South Seas at an island for Spencer.[5] Alex researched and studied a virus for Spencer in order to find the secret to immortality for him.[2][3][6] Out of all odds Alex accomplished this feat, but betrayed Spencer by disappearing and taking the results.[citation needed]

At present, Alex's status is unknown. Whether being immortal, simply in hiding, or dead, Alex's exact fate has yet to be made clear.

I gotta say, playing as Wesker's talented 'little brother' sounds like it would be cool as hell. It fits the whole thing of the world needing his DNA since the Wesker children all had DNA that was supposed to be superior to a normal humans. Maybe his DNA is the cure. Or maybe he made himself immortal and that made his DNA the cure.

Also, the new girl with Leon was revealed to be a new character by the name of Helena Harper. She works with Leon (and I'm assuming Krauser previously) in an American secret military Agency under the direct control of the U.S. President.

I'm all about gameplay and seeing what the action looks like in the game, so my opinion remains the same either way.

Eh, they've got a full year to develop the gameplay and add to it. At the moment, I want to know more about the story and the characters.

I thought Rebecca was supposedly dead?
