Did not know Captain Britain or Ms. Marvel could survive in space like that...

Cool cover, love how Davis draws Thor and Vision.

I love the Phoenix reflection on Beast's helmet! Here's hoping Davis joins Remender on the book for arc at some stage in the future!

I notice that this is #26, which means #25 is also shipping in April. So that's at least the main series, the New Avengers tie ins and the Secret Avengers tie ins double shipping in April. Is this how Marvel is going to make up for the lack of tie in mini series, by double shipping the regular series throughout the event?

Very cool to have such acclaimed artists as Alan Davis and Arthur Adams doing marvel covers.
And thats a very good cover.

I was hoping that Alan Davis would draw the issue. But yeah, I'm not a fan of Renato Guedes either. You would think that Marvel would put their top artists on this.

    WAIT, WHAT?

The Avengers are fighting THE PHOENIX FORCE??

IS THAT THE BEST THAT BENDIS, AARON, FRACTION ET AL COULD COME UP WITH???

    THIS IS GOING TO SUCK.

The "House of Ideas" can go to hell.

The Avengers are just cannon fodder until Squirrel Girl, Rocket Raccoon and Cosmo arrive to kick Phoenix Force's fiery ass back to the White Hot Room. They'd do it much sooner except that it would then be a very short event.

Oh god more Thor. Guess he isn't in enough books already.

Seriously one arc into Remenders run and were hit with crossover filler. ay to kill the momentum. I'm pretty sure I can skip this arc.

I am very confused by this title, these "Secret" Avengers...

What is "Secret" about this team, filled by some of the Avengers most stalwart members, not to mention Great Britain's most recognizable hero, and a mutant who, due to extensive media coverage, is one of the most recognizable on the planet. There is no "Secret" here. This isn't a stealth team-this is a brick team.

    Silly.

They are a Black Ops team of Avengers.
Thus where the Secret term comes from.

The series have been consistently good, especially the Ellis run in the title.
Remender is a good writer which should keep the quality this title had.

    My thoughts exactly.

More proof that there's just way too many Avengers titles right now.

This is why it's so hard to read much of Marvel's main titles lately. They're constantly doing mega crossovers, nothing staying within it's own title.

Marvel still has some creators that I follow, but the DCnu has the titles that I'll be following.
