Has Marvel Heroes begun closed beta yet?

yep, the close beta's been going on since last year.

Even if you don't get into the beta though this, I think it's a fantastic deal cause of the double wallet cash to buy more heroes and costumes when they are released. So, I see it as 100 dollars to unlock everything and 100 to get other stuff in the future. I can easily see myself spending 50-100 dollars on the game if I enjoy it and that would only be for a few heroes and costumes instead of all of them.

But, I don't think you have to worry about there not being a beta, most people won't drop 200 dollars down just like that. if you do it now, I would take the chances of you getting a key.

I expect 2500 people just from CBR would have already done it... I am pretty tight with my money(Those stupid cards aside, most wasteful as of late) but I am sold on this.

Did you notice that they all get a Time Limited extra amount of money, what do you think we could get? (If your in beta you probably can't answer this safely, sorry )

It is worldwide, it says that on the page. So no worries there and they accept paypal.

But, yup, I noticed the extra cash. Very happy about it, but we can use that on anything from Heroes, Costumes, XP boosts, etc. from what they said on the main page. So if you got the ultimate deal, you can use the cash on upcoming updates to the game, like if they add Agent Venom to the game, give spider-man the Fantastic four bagman costume, etc.

I think the founder progam and an approximate date, plus a bunch of costumes is big. Not to mention confirmed starters.

Damnit, most disappointing news that Emma is not available at launch. I guess I'll just stick to playing Scarlet Witch and Storm first. Bah.

Jean's Dark Queen costume looks Ah-mah-zing! <33333 FIERCE. But I think it's a shame she was announced much later than Emma and she gets to be available at launch.
Speaking of which... a spring launch is awesome. Can't wait to start playing!!!
