CBR: Simonson on Art, Comics and "Legion of Super-Heroes"

Simonson has never been able to recreate the magic he weaved with Thor, but that magic is so strong that he has become a legendary creator to me. So when I bought his X-Factor work and his classic Teen Titans/X-Men one-shot, and now the single issue Legion, his art looks a bit too rough and angular, but I remember the Simonson Thor run and all criticism goes out the window.

The pinnacle of his overall creative work was not Thor, but Orion, for my money.

Artistically he's only progressed as the years have gone on, and books like Michael Moorcock's Multiverse and his recent Judas Coin prove that time and time again.
