I wanted to ask who drew that? It looks awesome! Also, I just went to my first con and wanted to start a sketchbook collection of art. I'm really digging Asrar's Supegirl design and would definitely like to have some sketches done of her and wanted to ask if it's improper to ask other artists who didn't work on her to draw her for me? Or if it would be better to ask people who previously worked on older Supergirls.

If it is not bad manners, I wanted to ask who are your guy's favorite artist for Supergirl? I don't want to miss out on people the next con I go to because I'm not well informed =/

Ask whoever you want to draw Supergirl at cons. You're paying them right. Make them work.

Yep, you're pretty much free to ask anyone to draw anything at cons. But you may want to bring a reference of the new costume with you, in case the artist isn't familiar with the look of the new suit.

most artist make a big part of their earnings from con sketching/drawing so no it doesn't matter if you got the dough they'll probably draw for you, as long as you don't go asking for anything hentaish... those are done through online commissions and h-foundry ;)

Oh, on another note, I've been getting into the new DCU Supergirl but I'm not sure if I should go back and read older issues/trades? Is there anything you guys would recommend? I'm looking for fun stories, doesn't necessarily have to be super deep, thought-provoking or anything.

    I highly recommend Superman/Supergirl: Maelstrom

    Batman/Superman: Supergirl

She was only a supporting character in this, but it's Geoff Johns and Gary Frank.

The Sterling Gates/Jamal Igle run from a few years back admittedly had to slog through crap such as New Krypton, but when it wasn't, it was rather nice, indeed.

Yeah that's why I didn't recommend the Gates run. Had to slog, was a little slow and had very little edge. I know some people liked it though.
