    I absolutely LOVE this cover.

Just one? So she's not there for the Amazons?

Right now, we have Poly as a clay statue, and her Amazonian sisters as snakes. The snakes things is pretty bad, but maybe it's like, to use a HP reference, transfiguration, where with the right kind-of magic they can be switched back. But, Hera probably wasn't done with Poly, so she put her in Hades, hence Diana breaking in.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that no one's freaking out over the guns yet. Must be early.

Maybe she is being asked to do a job in exchange for her families lives? Kind of how Athena once asked WW to go rescue Hermes from Hades. Maybe this is like that.

I love everything about that cover.

I cannot wait to see the designs for Hephaestus and Eros!

I am still wondering where many of the female gods are. There has to be a payoff there.

OT? I'm sorry, I was just saying that the cover reminded me of the way Bayonetta fired her guns. Maybe you haven't played it so you didn't get the reference. I DID say I loved the cover, after that I was just adding to that statement what I observed. That's all

I'd comment on how good I think the game is, but that would be OT...

Anyway, the Eros reference in the gun flares is a really nice touch! And the hair reminds me of Batwoman, or even what Circe from that men-of-war cover..

Another example of Azzarello and Chiang's modern take with the gods; spears, swords, shields... blech... GUNS, now that's what I'm talking about.
    I. AM. THE. NEW. GOD.
Across countless worlds, for countless eons, not a voice is raised in hope or joy.
Across these worlds, these infinite lands throughout the cosmos, there is only Darkseid.

Oh sh..... that is a ridiculously awesome cover. "Pistols of Eros" gave me a pause, but it looks so kick-ass!

Talk to Hera? With a sword maybe.

Great cover. Truth is, I would hate to be hit by an arrow OR a bullet. But if it's a bullet or arrow of love, that's something different.

Great cover. Nice art and it kinda reminds me of old comic covers in which it sells the comic and/or really makes you want to check out the story inside. The visuals are exciting alone and who or what she's shooting at is also intriguing.

I wonder why Chiang is co-writing. Is he pulling a Williams Batwoman?
