Just one? So she's not there for the Amazons?

Here's my thinking:

Right now, we have Poly as a clay statue, and her Amazonian sisters as snakes. The snakes things is pretty bad, but maybe it's like, to use a HP reference, transfiguration, where with the right kind-of magic they can be switched back. But, Hera probably wasn't done with Poly, so she put her in Hades, hence Diana breaking in.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that no one's freaking out over the guns yet. Must be early.

I figured it was all magic transformations. None of them were dead so she could find a spell to reverse it, but now she's going to Hades so somebody is down there. She did move to fix the transformations immediately so it must not be a big deal to her.*shrugs*

Maybe she is being asked to do a job in exchange for her families lives? Kind of how Athena once asked WW to go rescue Hermes from Hades. Maybe this is like that.

Maybe it shoots love bullets? lol

You joke, but check out the muzzle flashes. Eros is the God of Love, after all.

Seeing Diana with pistols in her hand is a bit jarring, but that is a LOVELY cover.

Little OT, but that does remind me--is Bayonetta a good game? I got a PS3 this X-Mas and I would like to pick up the good games that I missed out on.

OT? I'm sorry, I was just saying that the cover reminded me of the way Bayonetta fired her guns. Maybe you haven't played it so you didn't get the reference. I DID say I loved the cover, after that I was just adding to that statement what I observed. That's all

Anyway, the Eros reference in the gun flares is a really nice touch! And the hair reminds me of Batwoman, or even what Circe from that men-of-war cover..

Except in the 5 issue preview she says she's not going to talk to Hera and leave Zola alone. So she is going to find time to go into Hades and leave Zola alone I guess. We'll see.

Great cover. Nice art and it kinda reminds me of old comic covers in which it sells the comic and/or really makes you want to check out the story inside. The visuals are exciting alone and who or what she's shooting at is also intriguing.
