looks like there has been a select few monsters unleashed onto earth, loving issue two cover.
I'm very sorry to be so late, Katherine.
The weather is terrible.
Ooooh, yes! Glad to see those critters are still around. Great covers! Duncan nails it every time.
"Okay, I know I said I wasn't going to shake things up, but we're going to have to get some pants on this one."
Do we know if this is three issues or five? I've read both, but am curious to know which is correct.
Edit: Looks like it's three. Disregard :)

Yep, three issues, followed by an untitled five-issue story.
A look at the monsters in The Devil's Engine:

At the end of next month Dark Horse will be hosting a BPRD Chat on Twitter. The conversation will be about The Devil's Engine #1, so make sure you've read it (and all stories leading up to it) beforehand if you want to avoid spoilers. DH plans to do something big (though they did not disclose what) with this chat. Last time they had Jason Latour in the chat to talk about The Pickens County Horror, which was pretty cool.
I'll post further news as I get it.
I don't know if I said it before but that Frankenstein creature on the first teaser looks a lot like the thing Hellboy battled in House of the Living Dead, I don't know if there will be a connection but I'd be cool with that.
I promised further news, well, Tyler Crook will be at that next Twitter chat, so don't miss it!
In other news, the preview for the first issue is up!

Beauty. Fegredo's covers are a big switch from the norm, but that's kinda what the last year's been about. His draughtsmanship is impeccable.
Strangebeard: It's not the size of the pirate in the fight, but the size of the fight in the pirate.
There's a new BPRD banner on the BPRD Facebook Group page:
Apparently there will be a behind-the-scenes thing on it at a later date.
