I just got The Joker: Stacked Deck from ebay. Pretty pleased so far with this book (I'm a sucker for Golden Age/Silver Age stories).

Regardless I plan on getting the black mirror next chance I get.
Death by Design from an art point of view is amazing, beautiful book. The story is a bit of a let down though. Not terrible, just doesn't live up to the art work or the initial idea.

    Black Mirror however is great!

I just got Batman: A Death in the Family yesterday, and also placed an order for Vol. 3 of No Man's Land and Vol. 3 of War Games.

The No Mans Land New Edition came out on tuesday and I am sure a few of you got it, I would like to know if this new edition has the same glossy (aka superior) paper found in Vol 1 and Vol. 2 OR did DC stupidly decide to go back to using the newsprint like they did for the new Knightfall sets?

    Thanks.

Haven't received them yet but recently purchased LotDK Marshall Rogers and the Don Newton collection. I've only read Black Mirror, Morrison's Batman and Vol 1 and 2 of Knightfall. I have no idea what that era of Batman is like so I've got my fingers crossed it doesn't suck.

I've also recently read The Man Who Laughs and was expecting a lot more based off of people's high praise for it. It seemed pretty ho hum to me.

Picked up: Batman & Son, Batman: The Black Glove, Batman: RIP, and Batman & Robin Reborn to start reading the Grant Morrison run.

I enjoyed the Marshall Rogers and Don Newton collection. Batman is one of those superheroes who stands time real well.

I'm just getting back into comics in general after not having read 1 in over 15 years. I started off buying some Vertigo titles ( I know its not Batman but meh) Sandman Preludes and Nocturnes and The Doll's House, the 1st 3 Walking Dead trades, and also reading the 1st 30 or so issues of Y :The Last Man. After that I decided to get back into Batman. I went on a bit of a spree and bought Year One, The Long Halloween, Batman & Son, the 1st 3 new Batman Inc. floppies and just ordered Knightfall last night from Amazon so it will be here tomorrow. I also read Dark Victory, The Killing Joke, and am a little over halfway through Batman and the Monster Men. I have borrowed copies of Earth One, Hush, Year 2, The Black Casebook, Year 100 and The Dark Knight Returns as well still yet to read. A question, does The Black Glove Deluxe include Barman & Son? I started to order it but was holding out for the regular version because it sounded like it did included Batman & Son and I already own it but I wasn't sure.

I actually just picked up "Catwoman: When in Rome". I'm late to the party on that one, loving it so far. Would make a great film (starring Anne Hathaway ;) )
