Excited for Dragonsbane, but still no Kirby: Genesis!?! WTF? I am digging the solo spinoffs, but the main book has lost all momentum at this point. Kurt Busiek himself said the next book or two are in the can, so what is going on?

Picked up Dragonsbane and have to say I really enjoyed this. It had a "Thor" flavor to it - given that it focuses upon the Norse Gods - but was not derivative of those books in the least. Very intriguing premise involving how all the mythic lands share the same realm, and the boundaries between them are now becoming permeable. Really, REALLY, loved the art. This was, by far, the best of the spin-off books of the Kirby Genesis series.

Also got Green Hornet. On first read it feels that Parks is still finding his feet for this series, but on second I reconsidered. It was very remniscient of Daredevil stories from around the Miller period - very character driven with a street level feel - which was quite good. Love the slow boil on the Mulan/Britt relationship too. And some amazingly strong art on this as well.

Too solid reads from DE for me this week.

It was weird to read Kirby enspired Norse gods that were't the Marvel version. Haven't read Voltron yet.

Green Hornet #21 and it was a straight up fun read. The art was beautiful as well.

Yeah -- I don't know where they found that guy, but he's one of the best artists I've seen in a while. They'd better get him an exclusive contract or he'll get snapped up by one of the big 2 pretty quick.

    I loved Dragonsbane.
    Will pick it up again...
Lost of intrigue to it and had that Kirby feel to it.
    Loved the costumes.
