I can't believe it, Armor, Hope and Warpath are on the cover.
That's a huge improvement from the precedent teasers!

I don't undertsand why people still want to write and read about those characters when it's obvious that there is nothing left to be told.

Love the cover, but it has me a bit confused. Last week when Marvel was churning out teasers for the minis, it showed characters like Wolverine facing off against Captain America. But in this it appears that Wolverine and Beast for that matter are siding with the Avengers. That leads me to wonder which side they'll take. I know that covers are never truly indicative of what's part of the book. The recent Astonishing X-men #44 cover is proof of that. So I'll be interested in seeing how certain characters are handled. I personally would like Wolverine and Beast to stay on the Avengers because that would add some inner conflict to the mix. But I guess we won't know until the story begins.

I don't think the promos were necessarily fights that were literally going to happen. They're just advertsements.

That said, the cover isn't necessarily something that can be taken literally either.
