I really liked that book. I hope the movie is at least half as good, and it will still be golden.

In contrast to a thread in the marvel boards. Does anyone else in here kind of hate Claremont and Byrne?

Dial H #1, the first issue of China Mieville and Mateus Santolouco's Dial H For Hero revamp, is really good.

It features two excellent transformations for the main character. I haven't seen those characters be fleshed out that degree in any other take on the franchise. A lesser writer probably would have saved the material for a team book or something.

What are people looking to grab this FCBD? It's a toss-up between Hypernatural (by DnA) and the Mouse Guard HC which also has a new Rust short-story.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

I want to pick up the Complete Major Bummer tpb. Also, Peter David's Fallen Angel. And a few other things.

You have that much of a beef with Iced Earth?

I love that album, even if it is about Spawn.

We don't get to grab multiple titles. So I gotta choose one or the other.

To be honest I liked this one and something wicked. Though I can't listen to it today, it sounds dated and uninspired, just cool riffs and vocals put together. It sure is one of my guilty pleasures though, I grew up with stuff like that.

Doesn't really matter to me. The shop closest to me packs in a few books for us to keep and has great deals for the rest of their merchandise. I'm looking to pick up some stuff at a decent discount.

I'm going to Geoffrey's Comics in Gardena, California.
