Well, I wasn't getting Deathstroke anyway. I'm now less inclined to give Grifter or Savage Hawkman a try...which may not be fair, as my problem is with the man's art and he's only plotting them.

Still, I'm confused on why he's getting so much work. Are his fans still that numerous?

It's as though they are trying to make room on everyone's pull lists for the new titles when you see creative decisions like this.

There is literally nothing more toxic that they could have done than this.

If Hawk & Dove bombed the answer is NO.

Why couldn't he just plot Deathstroke? A good writer like Higgins could have made the plot work...

    PRECISELY.

Man, taking Grifter away from Edmonson and giving it to Liefield is the equivalent of putting it through a shredder. And I was starting to get into Deathstroke too.

How does Liefeld have time to draw 3 books?

Bob Harras is current EiC for DC and under their current writing stable are Scott Lobdell, Howard Mackie and Rob Liefeld.

Everyone say a merry "welcome back" the the nineties.

Ok let's not exagerate now. He's plotting Grifter and HawkmAn, which means he's writing the story and then the other writers actually do the script and dialogues.
He's writing and drawing only Deathstroke (WHYYYYYYYYYY).

If I had the slightest interest in Deathstroke or Hawkman, I'd be pissed.

Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

Yeah my bad. Looks like he's only drawing Deathstroke (which kind of works).

Well, Grifter was headed that way anyway.

I think Liefeld will be a great fit for Deathstroke. But I really don't care about Deathstroke, Grifter and Hawkman anyway. I'm not going to be buying Deathstroke or Grifter regardless of the creative team, and I'd only consider buying Hawkman if they brought Hawkgirl back as a main character.

    Joe Bennet worked just fine.
