I've been a huge supporter of this book, but I think I may end up dropping it for Dial H.

I just really haven't liked the idea of the sudden explosion of guest appearances and the upcoming crossover with JLD.

I thought the last issue was also significantly weaker than the prior 3.

well, I,Vampire should least (imo) at least 12 issues (as it survived to the issue 8 cut of the other series), so it's not "already dead" :)

said this, I think it's really up to your tasted between this and Red Lantern. Personally, i love I,Vampire and i think that, based on the titles you're subscribed on, you may like it as well :)

    DC New 52, Top 5: 1° I,Vampire. 2° Batman. 3° Swamp Thing. 4° Animal Man. 5° Wonder Woman.

also, there's going to be a crossover between I,Vampire and Justice League Dark (that you're reading) in issues 7 and 8. So maybe you will want to check I,Vampire also because of this. :)

    This.

The covers, while pretty stunning on their own, are misleading to the style, atmosphere and strength of the book itself.

It definitely needs a cover artist that connects to the interior work (words and art).

Szymon Kudranski could do the Covers, he does the covers for Penguin and thats exactly the style that should be reflected

Well its interesting that Syzmon is brought up. He did the covers for Spawn from 203-209 (he also does the interiors), but since 210, Michael Golden does the covers and Syzmon still does the interiors. Its interesting seeing the same thing happen with I, Vampire where the cover art doesn't mesh well with the interior art. As a general curiosity question, why is this done? If people's problems are the comic and people reference the art inside and you continue to produce that, but change the cover artist so as to have a different style and the inside which remains the same, whats the point of it? Just curious is all about this, if anyone knows.

I think Syzmon would be interesting, but at the same time his darkness is a bit much compared to how Sorrentino does it. The obvious solution is to have Sorrentino do the cover too, but I like idea of Syzmon doing it.

It's a ok comic. Not one of my favorites but i still read it. If they got some better art work the book might sell better.

I love the moody artwork. I feel like it suits the book nicely. The covers on the other hand, are horrible. If looks like a Buffy rip off book, which is just unfair.

Between I, Vampire and Red Lanterns there's really no debate. I, Vampire has knocked it out of the park with each issue, and Red Lanterns hasn't even really gotten started.

I Vamp is just as good as Animal Man and Swamp Thing, and anyone reading those books should also be getting this title.
