ALL HAIL THE NEW VAMPIRE KING!!

issue 8 of both JLD and I, Vampire were really good
I think of I, Vampire was easily a 9 out of 10


However I think Rise of the Vampires as a whole 8 out of 10, it was good but it was too fast paced and some parts didnt had enough attention, like i would had liked to see a hint of Andrew changing his mind over coming back to life at JLD8 and I,Vampire 8 was a fast read but still enjoyable

also there are some things that i think werent very well planted on past issues
like Tyg and John, i can understand that they are Vampire killers but they had a really "easy" time at fighting off and horde of vampires, they could had use a better development
and i kind of disliked that Batman was pretty much drop in the middle of the arc, made his appearance a little irrelevant

but im loving the direction and the characters, Andrew, Mary, Tyg and John, all are great
this felt like a conclusion and a new beginning
which i hope attract more readers to this awesome title

fast paced yes but that is what JLD kind of needed.

I dropped this series after issue 3, but with all the good things I about it on here and elsewhere, I went back and picked up all the back issues and JLD crossover as well. I'm glad I did!

The whole crossover was great and had a big pay off. This is probably the best book of the relaunch barring omac. Only question is where do we go from here. I'm hoping tyg moves over to justice league dark.

The banter was soooooo good.

I think is worth mentioning that the book has taken a more episodic nature than before, might be for the better, that way we will get more of out of this though i hope the title catch on to get more life

Issue 9 feel a little slow, which is kind of expected really after a big crossover to have a cold down issue

the art is still good and the writing is still great but i feel that it still hasnt reached the promise of Andrew as the new Vampire Lord, he control over the whole vampire kingdom but i feel he still havent got an idea of what to do with it

the ending was pretty good
