I haven't been terribly fond of Millars recent work, but Quietly means I have to get this.

I may have to buy two copies of this book: one to store, one to destroy with drool because that's what Quitely does to me!

    Looking forward to this.

I usually love Millar's writing. In fact, I haven't had a real problem with his recent work...however, I feel like he is only writing comics in order to get them transformed into film properties. Which, as a film student, is pretty cool, I just wish he was writing comics as comic books, not potential movies.

That being said, Frank Quitely drawing this means an instant buy from me.

Three for three so far. This might be my top book out of the Millarworld books. I like that Millar is varying it up in flavor. Jupiter's Children really seems wide range in scale and ideas.

I can't believe Frank Quitely is WASTING his precious talents on this garbage drivel from Millar. It's crime.

Instead of having a project with Millar he should have proposed something to Warren Ellis, you know, someone who can actually write well.

12-Issues?! Exactly how long is this circus sideshow going to take?? 4 years? That's a very positive estimate too.

If it's monthly then Grant Morrison should have some complaints against Quitely since All Star Superman took 3 years to publish.

It's really interesting isn't it. I mean most of it is still a turn on the superhero genre, but the premises behind the books all feel very different.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

It can't be monthly. I would be very surprised if Quitely can do 12 issues bi-monthly.

I can't wait! Frank Quitely drawing something is a rare treat! The fact that Millar and Quitely have gone outside of the big 2 publishers and is going to be releasing this through Image is another bonus!

Image is the place to start doing the kinds of things the comic world needs. More limited series with great premise, new characters, fantastic art, a singular creative vision, etc.

I think Supercrooks is looking like it could be my favourite, it would be Jupiters Children but as Batmite2012 said, it's got "delayed" written all over it!...on the other hand they were talking about it in April last year and it's not out till September so they should have a nice head start on it.

Yeah. Quitely's had quite some time to get an issue or two under his belt. I mean how delayed was All-Star Superman?

I guess only time will tell, I really hope they do surprise us all and get each issue out on time but I can't see it, oh well, the best things in life are worth waiting for!.

I don't think I've ever read a Mark Millar comic (well, one issue of Kick-Ass) but this sounds pretty good. And it's FRANK QUITELY! Must buy.
