I hope this is the year of the creator. It's well past time and the more options available for creators ultimately means more books (and hopefully more varied books) to read. Not to mention, one of these days, creator's will be so successful on their own creator owned books that the big companies might actually change the way they go about things, from story content and reliance on events instead of just telling a story to issue pricing and everything in-between.
The cynic in me says the big two won't ever change but still, I can dream can't I?
