Oh, Lord...how can I choose?
There's the obvious but oh-so-fulfilling-to-anyone-who-was-denied-Zutara Makorra...The he-likes-her-but-she-just-thinks-of-him-as-her-teddy-bear-best-friend Borra...Not to mention intriguing-because-the-hero-shouldn't-always-get-their-chosen-love-interest-just-because-it's-a-kid-show Masami...
I'll settle on Linzin: Tenzin and Lin Bei Fong.![]()

Scandal makes every story better, and only serves to humanize the characters involved.
The couple's name for Asami Sato and Mako. Not quite catchy enough for me, I'll admit, but I suppose it works. (You've seen the most recent episode, right? If not...I order you to forget this post.)

Holy crap, I have never seen eyes like Asami has.![]()
The first time I saw love, it was hanging from a tree.
The old cast isn't gone, the universe is expanding but the core cast of Superboy, Miss Martian and Dick Grasyon is still there. Aqualad, Artemis and Wally are going to appear too of course, alongside central subplots like Red Arrow, the 16 hours of Justice League and the Light's plan alongside the inevitable invasion of Darkseid.
Clearly.
You really should. It's the best animated series there really is, no other show has put this much thought in an entire library of comic characters.
Mark Ruffalo Hulk movie coming, this is great. He does steal the Avengers show and will be this summer's fan favorite character out there.

Other than the appearance of Batgirl and the awesome slow motion entrance of Wonder Girl, I wasn't terribly impressed with the first episode of Season 2... I like how Zatanna is still in the show, but I really wanted to see more of her and her father/Doc Fate. I don't wanna sound like a downer but this show has been a solid 9 and 10 for 26 whole episodes and now suddenly it's slammed with a 4. They really lost momentum, and it wasn't even needed. I don't really care for any of the new cast, I don't like how efficient the team is now, and the characters I wanted to see develop skipped 5 years. Super Boy shouldn't be Super BOY anymore... Just sayin'.
I'll still watch this show, obviously... But they better step it up. When Ultimate Peter Parker was replaced by Miles Morales, at least Peter's story was over. Here the entire team of Young Justice was replaced with sub-par characters that better resemble the Teen Titans cartoon when the original team's story was not only NOT complete, it had barely just begun.
Bat Girl better be front and center if Zatanna was bumped to the back seat. I don't want to see any more of Blue Beetle, Beast Boy and Fish-Hulk.

Finally someone I can agree with about this show. I loved season 1 as well and was really disappointed with the first episode of season 2. The whole time I was just thinking to myself This must be a dream sequence it must be. But I don't think it is. There was probably a whole lot to tell in those 5 years and we get virtually squat but like I said they are probably going to mention it with the next couple of episodes. This show feels more and more like I missed out on a season. Even the Justice League had a season 2 of it show before going on to Justice League Unlimited.
Actually Nightwing, Superboy, and Miss Martian are STILL part of Young Justice, and we've yet to see what happened to Red Arrow, Aqualad, and Kid Flash. They might also be part of YJ. So I wouldn't say the ENTIRE team was replaced, because that's inaccurate; only two left and joined the League. And I don't know what you want from Superboy. Were you expecting him to take up the name Superman?
The nice thing was introducing BB and BB...lol. Batgirl, not so much. And Wonder Girl is fine. Not sure about the others, but again this is JUST the first episode. I rate it at an 8, a 10 if it hadn't been a time-skip.
Also, the team's had 5 years to get better, so the efficiency is not only explained, but expected.
EDIT: For the record, this is not me endorsing the 5 year skip in time. I agree that it feels like we've missed out on a season, like this is season 3 or something.
Also, beside Beast Boy, and a Robin, this isn't like the TT cartoon. It would need Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven for that. And Tim isn't even the Robin from that cartoon.

Expected... if it was the exact same cast, maybe. A new team emerging every 5 years or so doesn't gain the expertise and experience of the team before it.
About the missing characters: When they make an appearance I'll be happy. But an entire episode about 3 characters I haven't even been introduced yet? It really does seem (like sage said) that a season, or at least a bulk of episodes, was missed.
And I didn't expect Super Boy to replace Superman... I expected him to be Superboy for the remainder of this series. But, you, know expected that series to take place over the course of 1 year per season, type deal. Having a show called YOUNG JUSTICE which is about YOUNG heroes doesn't really work when you skip FIVE years. If this were a show about adult heroes then sure, by all means, skip as many years as you like. But don't do it with a cast of kids and teenagers. Superboy, Nightwing and Miss Martian shouldn't even be on the team anymore since they're at least in their twenties now, if not 18 minimum.
Here's how they SHOULD have done it if they were going to skip time: Skip 10 years. Have ALL of the original team on the Justice League and be what Batman and Superman etc were to them in Season 1. They'd be the new heroes and the new young team would be all of their sidekicks. Have the new team be inexeperienced like the first team was, but for the love of Pete at least stick to SIDEKICKS and well-known fan favorites or younger versions of famous DC characters (like they did with Zatanna), I can't stress enough how uninteresting the 3 main characters were in the first episode.

Actually if the new members joined soon after Season 1's events, then that could explain their expertise. I doubt they joined so soon as in a month or two before Season 2. Unless it was stated somewhere and I just missed it.
Actually I did in fact enjoy seeing two of my favorite heroes (Blue Beetle and Tim) in action. I suppose you'd have rather had all the characters, but they needed to be elsewhere. And it's difficult to give EVERY character screentime. I imagine next episode will be about Superboy, Nightwing, and Miss Martian going to Rann (is that right?). And are you saying Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, Tim, and Wonder Girl aren't well-known. Beside maybe not knowing about WG, I suspect the other two are know from the Teen Titans cartoon and Batman: Brave and the Bold. And Tim from the Batman cartoons.
As for them being too old, it's not like this is the Teen Titans, it's Young Justice. Being in your early 20's is, IMO, still young.
