I agree with you 100% Jer, it is all about listening and keeping a good set of notes.

I have great grades but I know for a fact that if I would take notes in class my marks would be higher and I wouldnt be a hard thing to do.

I will say though I am a bad test-taker but again I know what my problem is and I dont care enough to fix it. With some students it is becuase they over study and/or second guess themselves.

Your sound like a good teacher though. You teach the lesson give out notes and you help the students who try to help themselves and when thats all said and done you give an exam in which you allow students to use notes. I would have loved this class.

As for Bleach(manga) it has gotten really bad in my opinion. I still look at each chapter but I dont really read much of it.

There are days, when I feel like I'm the worst teacher in the world. A colleague of mine have his students take notes on something ... anything and then he predicts who will do the best based on those notes.

I'm thinking of doing the same but on what? I was thinking the galaxy song from Monty Python for the astronomy class I'm going to teach this semester since I love that song but it's too short and the song is just too damn catchy

3. Everything Ultimate, The Batman books, Incognito, Brilliant (though I won't be buying the 2nd issue) and Scarlet Spider.

I just got some Negima (manga) not too long ago. That book is A++ and the cartoon is C- at best.
