WWE RAW II: RAW is Jericho!

well, if you are going with Kane = no pop in ratings. Yep you are right. He is not someone like Rock or Austin that can give a rise in ratings. But Big Show, Kane, Mick Foley, I think Triple H, Hulk Hogan those are "popular" characters and that people inmediatly associate with WWE. You could easily sell a comic or an action figure of Kane or Big Show, but lets be honest how many will buy an action figure or a tshirt of lets says Dolph Ziggler or Steve Blackman or Alber/A-train/lord Tensai. Maybe some but they would be harder sellers or not sell as much or as easy as big shor or kane. action figures of the former might gather more dust at retailer bins than those of Kane or Show. Notice tha I am saying that Kane and show figures do gather dust. Because the ones to sell first are Cena, Taker, Rock, maybe Michaels, or trips. Then people will look at Kane or Show, and if they still have money they will buy a Ziggler figure. around my country you can even find plenty of crime Tyme or Hart Dynasty figures sitting gathering dust. While not many brother of destruction 2packs.

Spoilers for tonight
spoilers:

Shows about to start with superstars, showing a highlight package of wM28 to start while Justin Roberts heads to the ring. Arena is pretty much a sell out with a top tier section curtained off. A lot of YES! Chants and Cena Sucks from the crowd.

Arena is packed I the rafters. Literally. The back row is up at the roof and is full. Wrestlemania video package shown before Superstars taping begins.

First off with have Alex Riley vs Dean Ambrose with what I'm guessing is his SuperStars debut. Tells the crowd he's the hardcore legend. Crow chants who are ya!

Ambrose wins with a running knee to the temple. An announce team was not present for the match so this was the dark match of the evening.

Now we're ready for Superstars as Matthews and Striker head to the ring. First up is Kelly Kelly vs Eve. Hoeski chants commense.

Crowd isn't bothered much by the action, entertaining themselves instead with Hoski chants and Yes chants. Eve won after Kelly hit the Stink face and Eve got a quick roll up pin with her feet on the ropes.

Superstars Match 2: R-Truth vs Jack Swagger

Truth gets a good pop. Swagger gets lots of boos. Sadly no Vickie.

Swaggers has had Truth's number most of the match and getting plenty of cheap heat posing to the crowd.

Lots of Little Jimmy chants. R-Truth leads the crowd in What's Up chants whilst holding Swagger in a submission hold. Crowd is more into this match. At one point Swagger hits a picture perfect Wheelbarrow Suplex for a 2 count. Let's go Swagger/Swagger Sucks chants ring throughout the arena. King calls us (and Canada) bizarro land for a reason! We Brits really are a funny bunch. Truth gets a 2 count after a tornado DDT off the second rope. Ends up winning with the Little Jimmy after Swagger missed the Swagger Bomb. Not a bad match.

Lawyer and Cole head to the ring King gets a huge pop. We're now ready for the Raw taping.

Cole comes out to Kerwin White's music and gets nuclear heat. King comes out to classic King music and an ovation.

Lilian Garcia sang god save the queen and received some boos!

Loads of boos for the patronising pandering, especially when she elongates the last line. God save the Queen isn't the Star Spangled Banner. It isn't open to artistic interpretation. It is sung as written to the age old music.

We're kicking off RAW with the WWE title match! CM Punk gets a huge pop from the crowd. Lots of Sexual Chocolate chants for Mark Henry.

1st out is Mark Henry. Then he walks to the ring in the dark and they play the opening video package for Raw. The pyro is awesome live. Then they announce the No DQ & No Count out match for the WWE Title.

CM Punk vs Mark Henry

Punk comes out to a huge reaction. CM punk chants rock the arena. Henry gets lots of heat during the introductions. The match starts with Daniel Bryan and Sexual Chocolate chants.

Punk suicide dives Henry taking Henry down as the two brawl outside. Punk runs on the barrier and hits Henry and leaps on Henry hitting him with a clothesline from behind! Punk jumps off the apron but gets caught by Henry and dumped on the rail so begin the no chants. Punks got a chair! And blasts Henry.

Punk hits a suicide dive and a Jeff Hardy style barricade run. Yes chants for all of Punk's kicks. Punk goes for a diving knee off the apron and Henry catches him and slams Punk into the barricade. Eventually Punk gets a chair and nails Henry twice for a 2 count. Henry fights back and smashes Punk in the back with the chair. Loads of Yes Chants every time Punk lands a strike. Punk hits a DDT on a kneeling Henry for a 2 count. Henry catches Punk coming off the top rope with a cross body but Punk gets out of the WSS and nails Henry with a kick. Punk wins with a Macho Man elbow off the top rope with a chair.

Jericho is on screen in a "pub" says he has a WWE title match at extreme rules in a Chicago street fight! Crowd chants yes! Punk says he doesn't know how Y2J will survive a chicago street fight after what he did to Henry. Says its no long about being best in the world it's about kicking his ass and gets to do it in front of his friends and family. Jericho then shows footage of punk entering and leaving a pub earlier today. Jericho questions why? And asks if he's drunk. Punk says come find out for him self punk says he was having fish and chips with his friends. Fish and chips chant starts! Jericho says punks life style is a farce and at extreme rules he's gonna lose all he has left!

Titantron shows that Brock will be on the show later. Crowd pops massively for that news.

Santino vs Otunga next. Otunga nearly just botched the pin for Santino to put his leg on the

rope. Quick match cobra for the win!

Tensai is on screen says to Josh you fear the unknown then says something Japanese then says he now knows what to fear... ?

Comes up on screen that WM28 had 1.3 million buys.

Lesnar VT he says he's not a superstar and that he's an ass kicker. Says no one has the accolades he has. Says coming bak isn't a feel good moment says he doesn't care about anyone says WWE needs someone to legitimise it and that we're tired of Cenas bs and that lesnar is real cena is fake. Lesnar says there's piss running down Cenas leg and he's shitting himself. It's an Extreme Rules match at Extreme Rules fitting..... Beating people up makes Lesnar happy.

Ryder vs Kane next.

Well this match was a throw out appears Ryder is KO after a choke slam Kane's on the mic. Talks about what happened on smack down. Says its true what they say like father like son because they both went down without a fight.

Kofi and AJ backstage, D Bry comes over can't here what he's saying because of yes chants. He's renamed the labelle lock the yes lock! And starts chanting yes crowd is going nuts screaming "yes!" with him.

Random we want JR chants.

Cenas out to talk. Says that WM28 could have been an end of an era, his era. Because lauranitus is like the people and would say cena sucks and wants the replace cena. Cena says he doesn't have the courage to just straight out fire cena. Says lauranitus went and got Lesnar to replace cena and that Lesnar stands for destruction. Cena says at ER he steps in the ring with a man who's soul purpose is to remove and replace him. Cena says lesnar's right and that he is afraid but April 29 he will fight.

Here comes Big Johnny!

Johnny says its the beginning of the people power era and cena will be in an extreme rules match tonight. Next Monday 3 hour RAW will have a contract signing for lesnar vs cena. Johnny isn't telling Cena who his opponent is tonight.

Daniel Bryan vs Kofi next.... YES! YES! YES!

Hornswoggles in a library and truth walks by as Sherlock Holmes on screen... Random

D Bry comes out to a huge pop! Yes chant to everything he does in the ring and no's to Kofi. Huge Daniel Bryan and yes chants. Good back and forward match Bryan wins with the yes lock crowd goes nuts!! After match he reapplied the yea lock out comes Sheamus. Bryan ducks the brogue kick and crowd chants yes!

Brodus Clay vs Dolph Ziggler. Massive heat for Vickie. Mixed reaction for Dolph.

Match is quick as swagger pulls Ziggler out an then goes for Brodus.Ziggler then sells a press slam with huge air like a champ. One of clays dancers pushes Vikki over. Now ensues the prehistoric dance session.

Next a video package for Chief Jay Strongbow. For those of you who don't know, Strongbow died last week. Crowd with respectful applause and cheering.

Here comes Khali first for a tag match playa! It's Khali and Show vs Epico and Primo. Abraham Washington is standing at the top of the stage watch Khalis (not so) greatness. Epico and Primo are looking to bail I don't blame them... But show chases. Double choke slams from the big men for the win.

Next up Cena and the mystery. The mystery is.... Tensai I'm shocked!!!! Not

Albert chants for Tensai. Big Johnny is ringside for the match and Tensai is dominating so far. Tensai throws cena in to the step then goes for a power bomb cena reverses the big man. Cena smashes Tensai with the steps. Satomako just got involved kicking cena in the chest.Cena is actually going for the 5 moves of doom on Tensai... Tensai reverses and hits cena with a senton.

Cena gets Tensai in a cross face so Otunga gets involved. AA to Otunga. Cena turns into a green mist from Tensai then a baldo bone for the win. That's it for RAW refs are attending to Cena who's got green crap all in his eyes.

Dark Match:

* Dean Ambrose beat Alex Riley. Ambrose got the win after pulling his knee pad down and hitting a running knee to Riley’s head.

RAW, Airing Tonight:

* Lilian Garcia opened with God Save the Queen.

* Mark Henry comes out to open the show. The No DQ, No Count Out WWE Title Match with Henry and CM Punk is up first. They have a good solid match and brawl outside the ring a lot. Punk uses a chair and other stuff. Punk ends up getting the win to retain the WWE Title after hitting an elbow drop from the top with a steel chair.

* Chris Jericho promo is up next. Jericho vs. Punk for the WWE Title in a Chicago Street Fight is announced for Extreme Rules. Jericho taunts Punk and shows footage from earlier today of Punk entering a local bar/pub. Jericho wonders if Punk is drunk. Punk tell him to come find out and then says he was having fish and chips with his friends. Jericho says it’s no longer about being the best – it’s about beating Punk’s ass.

* Santino Marella defeated David Otunga to retain the WWE United States Title. Santino wins a quick match with the Cobra.

* Josh Mathews is backstage with Lord Tensai. Tensai talks in Japanese and says something about knowing what to fear and fearing the unknown.

* WWE flashes a graphic touting WrestleMania 28′s 1.3 million pay-per-view buys.

* Brock Lesnar promo on the big screen. Lesnar says he isn’t a WWE Superstar, he’s an ass kicker. Lesnar says he doesn’t care about anyone and isn’t here for a feel good moment. WWE needs someone to legitimize it and he’s the real deal to do it. Lesnar calls John Cena fake and says everyone is tired of his bullshit. They keep bleeping him out. He says Cena is pissing and shitting himself. Lesnar says beating Cena up in the Extreme Rules match at Extreme Rules will make him happy.

* Kane defeated Zack Ryder after KO’ing him with a chokeslam. Kane talked about Randy Orton and what happened on SmackDown with Cowboy Bob Orton. They played Kane’s old Man on Fire music as he left.

* Backstage segment with AJ Lee and Kofi Kingston when Daniel Bryan walks up. Lots of YES chants from the crowd. He’s re-named the LaBell Lock the Yes Lock.

* John Cena comes to the ring. He talks about how WrestleMania 28 could have been the end of his era and about how John Laurinaitis wants to replace him. Cena talks about Lesnar and Extreme Rules. Cena says Lesnar is right – he is afraid but he will still fight. Out comes Laurinaitis. He says it’s the beginning of the People Power Era. Laurinaitis announces an Extreme Rules match for Cena tonight but won’t name the opponent. He also announces a contract singing for next week’s 3 hour RAW with Cena and Lesnar.

* Backstage comedy segment with Hornswoggle and R-Truth, dressed as Sherlock Holmes.

* Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan is up next. Huge YES chants for Bryan. Bryan wins after a good back and forth match with the Yes Lock, formerly the LaBell Lock. The crowd goes nuts for Bryan. Bryan re-applied the hold after the match until Sheamus came out. Bryan dodged a Brogue Kick and left as the crowd was still chanting.

* Brodus Clay beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ when Jack Swagger interfered. Vickie Guerrero got into it at ringside with one of Clay’s dancers. Clay and his dancers dance in the ring to end it.

* A video for the late Chief Jay Strongbow airs.

* Big Show and The Great Khali vs. Epico and Primo is up next. Abraham Washington watches the match from up on the ramp. Show and Khali get the win after a double choke slam.

* John Cena comes out for his Extreme Rules match against a mystery man. That mystery man is none other than Lord Tensai. Laurinaitis comes out and watches Tensai dominate Cena. Cena finally makes a comeback but Sakamoto attacks him. David Otunga also got involved at one point. Tensai spit the green mist into Cena’s face to get the surprising win and end RAW.

Starting with Punk vs. Henry. Mark has been whupping that ass, lately.

Obviously this means the show will end with more Brock/Cena drama.
