And it is! Lol now if only we had a Dark Phoenix mission to match. The X-Men have lots of villains who haven't caught a break with this game.

If they have another "villian" themed character month, Dark Phoenix needs to be one of them!

I'd prefer her to be a mission just so we can see a Blue Area of the Moon stage with the Shi'ar. But a playable Dark Phoenix would be 99.99% as good for me. Maybe even both

I'd love to see a mission(s) based thematically on the Phoenix Saga, and seeing the Blue Area of the Moon while battling the Shi'ar Imperial Guard would be awesome! BUT... I don't really want to see Dark Phoenix, in a mission as a boss & even moreso, as a playable character. When it comes to new Jean Grey iterations in particular, I'd much rather see White Phoenix, 90's Jim Lee, or modern Grant Morrison instead. What I would like to see tho, that's kinda similar to her DP look, is her Revolution costume. As far as Phoenix based missions, other than the one mentioned, a fight against D'Ken in space & then inside the M'Kraan Crystal would be cool!

IDK, I thought Onslaught was a good mission choice for Phoenix/Jean Grey, seeing how he's a psionically powered viilain. I mean, he was literally "created' when Xavier's vast mental powers forcibly removed and then merged with all of Magneto's dark thoughts, feelings, & emotions. Jean also played a HUGE part in the storyline, which was a massive crossover event, that led directly into the controversial Heroes Reborn. I know it was a mixed bag quality wise, even back then, but there were some key moments for me. Like when Hulk came to Jean in the midst of their last major battle against Onslaught in NYC, and Bruce asked her to sever the control he then had over his Hulk persona. This was so Hulk could access his maximum rage & strength in an attempt to defeat the villain, who also had child hostage Franklin Richards in his clutches. That to me, was a wicked cool character moment between two heroes that don't normally get to interact. And actually what he asked her to do, what she did, was a pretty big deal I think.

So far for X-villains, we have Magneto(of couse) x 2, Mystique, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, & now Onslaught. I think we X-fans are doing OK, lol. But you're right, there are still so many others that could yet be used. The aforementioned Apocalypse(who I'm almost positive we'll see at some point), Sinister, the Brotherhood, the Hellfire Club(Shaw & Selene are just too sick & vicious), the list just goes on & on. Hey, how about the Shadow King?! I've always felt like he was a real malevolent & scary badass, we could fight him on the Astral Plane!

I'd personally prefer Outback Dazz to Disco Dazz. The KISS look never did it for me.

I prefer Outback Dazz myself, Scarlet, but I'll take as many Dazzlers as they're willing to give me! I mean, 90's first for sure, then just release Disco & modern sometime afterwards. IDK if that'll really happen, and at this point, I'd be happy with just one. But fans can dream & should never stop askin' for what they wanna see, no matter how out of reach their wants may seem at the time, lol.

I've always loved me some Darkstar, but only the Laynia Petrovna version, like in your picture. Liked her look, her powers, her background... her accent, lol, gotta love those Russian hotties. Meggan's okay, she just seems a lil convoluted to me, maybe even somewhat contrived. I've never really got her powers or backstory. Not sure if she's ever really moved beyond just mainly being Captain Britain's girlfriend/fiance/wife, or whatever, anyway. Like her elven look tho!

Not that this is any real news or anything, but Ghost Rider is looking more & more as all but confirmed, according to what I've read over on SHSO's Facebook page anyway. In the comments for their Phoenix announcement, this is what I found:

From Jeff L. Bowden, "... Well, cant wait to see what is in store for next month along with Ghost Rider." And then, "Still no word on who else is coming with Ghost Rider next month Michael?"

Michael Cameron responds, "Nyet. Hopefully we'll hear something soon."


There could of been more, but that's all I could get, 'cause I don't do the Facebook thing.

Problem is, nobody seems to have any idea who is coming WITH Ghost Rider. Kind of reminds me of when we knew in November we were getting Nova, but initially didn't know anything about who else. And I have no idea personally of who it could be, except maybe Punisher, that'd be my best guess. Captain Marvel was more or less a cosmic based hero, like Nova, so I wonder who fits in with GR's theme? I'm feeling clueless right now.

- I'd like to do one of Angel/Archangel, in honor of & before his upcoming release next week. Finally gettin' to play him in a game, any game, is a BIG deal for me! Glad it's SHSO, and I wanna do what little I can to help promote & hype it, as a way of sayin' thanX to them.
- I still hafta post the fourth & final installment of "SHSO: Characters MIA" also. I've had that done since the beginning too, just like the other 3, but it must've slipped my mind with all the eXcitement over the last few days.
-Then there's things I'd like to put on here relative to the new poll, before we actually start it, that'll be helpful to voters I think.
-There's other things, more stuff, but that's all I can think of right now.

Gotta get goin' tho, need to get everything set for the BIG "Theme Team" tourney tonight! Maybe get a lil practice in runnin' some missions also, along with gettin' my usual daily SHSO rituals out of the way.

Glad you liked the pic, JGF! Well, I've always kinda been predisposed to indifference towards Rachel, that's bordered on & spilled over into total negativity at times. It's nothing personal, but as a Jean fan, I just naturally seem to feel that way about all her derivatives(Maddie Pryor & current flavor of the month, NopeSummers, being the others). But over the last year or so, out of all of them, I'm starting to soften on Rachel a bit. I still wouldn't go as far as to say that I actually like her now, but she has grown on me somewhat. So, there's hope... pun intended, ha-ha. Unfortunately, I did the pic before I started comin' around a lil towards the Rache.

I must be one of the few Jean fans who actually likes Rachel. And I don't mind Maddie but that's only cause I see her as another fragment/incarnation of Jean that is split away too often.

I remember seeing a post from someone who mentioned that the Gazillion team read our threads, so I don't think we should ever stop discussing and vocalising about who we wanna see in game!

I've always loved me some Darkstar, but only the Laynia Petrovna version, like in your picture.

In my mind she's the only Darkstar, and thanks to the very brief careers of the other two i'm pretty sure she's the only option in Gazillions mind too! Her powers would be a great visual and easy to design which is a plus.

Do yourself a favor and buy some Excalibur TPB's, I guarantee you will love it! It's hard not to fall in love Meggan, and she and Kurt's flirtation made for great reading!

Her powers are quite nebulous and it seems like there isn't much she can't do, but that makes for a lot of potential in game - they could reference her drawing on the earths power and growing ala Giant man, her vast elemental powers (she controls them all!) or even have her transform into her were-form for some savage beast action! The potential is endless. Not to mention her character would be absolutely adorable!

Well he was a member of the Champions, so maybe we could be seeing Darkstar (!!!!) and Hercules? We already have Iceman and Black Widow, and with Angel next week that would complete the team.

I with you on R'chel, she's never really grabbed me, though I did like her in Excalibur. However I have a lot of love for Maddie Pryor! I didn't like her until Scott left her for X-factor and Jean though. Seeing her struggle with her deep loss and her slow descent into madness was amazing, from that freaky dream where Jean steals her physical features and then her life, to getting a little revenge on Cyke and seducing Havok. Compelling!!!!
