Just kidding, I know people like them and want them in the game.. was just surprised I was the only one who had them in their 10! They're pretty unique and cool.

Did you get to read their Spider Island mini by any chance, spidavenger..? It's worth checking out!

Aww DD, now you made me feel bad, I love Dagger, I don't know how she got past my list. But last time I checked they were going to get a T.V. show some time soon so probably that will raise their awareness. I would have totally canned my vote for Moonstone for her.

Those are some awesome heroes! I forgot about Polaris when I voted...oh well.

Cool thread! I love your enthusiasm! I honestly thought Blackbolt and Kazar would be higher in the poles, but everyone could only pick 10 so just because a character didn't get many votes doesn't mean people didn't want them! Each of these characters will make an appearance some where down the line in the near future. Once again, cheers for a cool thread!

Secret Invasion, huh? Was that the first time they ever showed him unmasked? Can't be, that's a looong time for what you think would be a rather minor reveal. I'm a little disappointed actually, he doesn't quite look like I pictured him. Honestly, he's fairly indistinct looking. I always thought he'd be more distinguished in his appearance, kinda like a Bruce Wayne, he has that air about him. My first reaction when I saw the pics was...
Scott Summers, aka Cyclops! Especially the one in the upper right corner. Gawd! Must be the brown hair... and the FROWN!!! Lol.

Not the first time Black Bolt's face was shown but this the only unmasked image of him in the comic book that I could remember. I didn't want to search for other images coz someone might beat me to it. Turns out only a few squaddies are online around this time. Lucky me, lol!

He does look like Cyke. But then again, there could be better or more distinguishable-looking images of him that we just haven't seen yet.

Sorry for the much delayed response Boinks & CUG, but I was so encouraged by both your comments, that I literally got lost in my own enthusiasm! I immediately began working on what I thought would be some enhancements, to make it more "official". Things I'd already considered, a banner for the opening post, adding an actual poll(still iffy on this, not sure about the details either), and of course, links(to the other team member threads, AND to sites with useful info for this one). The banner was first natch, with the idea being I was going to dedicate it to the two of you.

Before going on, this seems like the opportune time to say thank you. When I first started this thread, I got the sense it was being met with universal resistance, that the whole idea wasn't a very welcome one. I feared I had made a HUGE mistake! Sorta still do, unfortunately. Then Boinks started participating, and was so upbeat & friendly. That was soon followed by CUG's warm words of appreciation and suddenly... I was inspired again!

I started work on the banner right away, intending it as a kinda "real prize" for Boinks' No Prize & as a representation of my sincere thanX to CUG's (much needed)verbal pat-on-the-back/way-to-go. However, as I started amassing stuff, my original concept evolved... considerably... it just grew & mutated into something a lil... different, but more fun! At least I think so, lol, and hope everyone else will too! What didn't change was that's it's all still in honor of Boinks & CUG. But the motivations behind my gesture did expand, if not alter, as I now see it as a way of saying thanX to everybody here at the CBR SHSO threads. I've had SO much fun & laughs with the team(in the game & on here), that I wanted to do something for all of us, to show my gratitude. So to Boinks, CUG, & the entire CBR SHSO crowd... THANK YOU!!! First entry will be posted soon, hope ya like!

And don't go lookin' for some of those SHS figures, as they're customs. Made by fans who love their favorite character so much, they made their own. Jubilee, Machine Man, & Beta Ray Bill, some of the first few from the top, are all examples of this.

A few posts I've read in other threads do mention that next month's theme is going to be Marvel Knights and will culminate with the release of Ghost Rider. Here's hoping something official comes up real soon. Or has it already? Enlighten us oh omniscient ones!

Not to my knowledge. Wish it would tho, I hate not knowing things for sure & just having to go on rumors. If GR is on his way, I'm VERY interested to see how the devs have adapted him to this game. His visage doesn't exactly lend itself to SHSO's kiddie-friendly nature, but I'm sure they'll manage to pull it off somehow. I'm gonna scan around to see if I can gleen any info on or about the inclusion of our friendly, neighborhood Spirit of Vengeance... Hell's bounty hunter... the guy with a skull encased in flames for a head... who dresses like he's headed for a biker rally & punishes his enemies by whipping them with chains...
