Sure, CUG, your list is fine. There were only 2 you had listed that might be considered iterations & therefore would of had to been removed. But per my MIA heroes compendium here, http://forums.comicbookresources.com...1#post14669626, both Ant-Man & Nick Fury(616) are valid, acceptable choices. Ant-Man, 'cause he doesn't have to be the Hank Pym version(tho it seems probable it would be), he could also be either Scott Lang or Eric O'Grady. On that basis alone, I classified Ant-Man as an "original" MIA hero & not as an iteration or alternate, à la Jean Grey/Phoenix for eXample. And the reason 616 Nick Fury & his Ultimate(movie) counterpart are being treated as completely separate, should be rather obvious, I would think. BTW, anybody know if that lil discrepency has ever been addressed in the actual comics or not?

Sorry 'bout my lapse of presence on the boards AND in SHSO recently, but I've been sick & just totally wiped-out over the last few days. Mustering the energy to keep updated by coming on here periodically(to read only) & then logging in to get my daily gold besides, was about all I could and... felt like doin', really. Watching the election primary coverage last evening, I fell asleep(lol), and when I woke up a couple of hours later 'round midnight... I finally felt MUCH better. This morning, still a lil sluggish & not 100% yet, but am lots improved nonetheless.

Now, with my being out of commission due to the dilemna of personal illness covered, lets move on. I'll be posting a revised "NEW POLL Guide" soon, as well as a list of all the entries to date(not necessarily in that order, tho), categorized into either being correct as is or in need of editing in order to be counted. I will detail in specifics what has to added, removed, and/or changed for each to meet the new, retroactive criteria of the revised guide. Then, those who need to fix their entries can feel free to do so, if desired. Of course, brand new lists from people who have yet to participate can(and WILL, hopefully... keepin' my fingers crossed) resume in full force too, at that point.

First for me today tho IS... heading over to SHSO & actually PLAYING the game!!! I've got to run & be judged for my 3 solo tourney missions sometime by midnight tonight! I've had an awful time finding a hero to successfully complete Ultron's "U Turned Out The Lights", until I relunctantly attempted it with some tanks like the Hulks for a change. Still struggling & finding it a bit of a challenge for some reason, but better results now seem doable at least. I'm gonna PM Virgo about setting up a time & practice like crazy while I wait to hear from her. I'm also dying to check out Luke Cage & the new Kingpin mission, both of which look like... "Sweet Christmas!" So I imagine most of the rest of today will be taken up with all that, which is what I'm kinda in the mood for anyway. Never fear & no worries tho, should get what needs to be done here, finished by sometime tomorrow. Sorry for the lull, for the extended period of stasis & inactivity, but sincere thanX once again for all your patience & understanding. Hero up!

I would really recommend Luke Cage, as far as 350 gold heroes go he is probably the best, along with Valkyrie. I just doubted a lot about him but I really liked to character in comics so I decided to get him and I got surprised, he is extremely good, and with a good angle he possibly has the most damaging Hero-Up in game. Plus he has the best attitude of any hero in game and his voice is just amazing.

I believe this NEW POLL may help us to better determine which MIA heroes truly are "Most Wanted"... at this time anyway. It'll only be a snapshot after all, subsequent outcomes will undoubtedly be different. They'll have to change, just like the factors we consider beforehand periodically do. New info we're regularly getting from the ongoing monthly updates, and sometimes conventions or other promotional outlets as well, pretty much guarantee this as inevitable .

Now, with the significance of this NEW POLL clarified, if you'd all be so kind as to please read the following(... which has now been revised to reflect necessary changes in both the instructions & rules. Due to the unforeseen nature of some entries, I felt it necessary to implement these retroactive stipulations, in hopes of better achieving the outcome I'm looking for.):

Instructions

• Simple & easy as can be... just list up to 20 characters you'd LOVE to see become playable, all the heroes you're still REALLY waitin' for!
• Edit: Now optional... you may also include a separate character iterations list, featuring your "Most Wanted" alternate versions of up to 10 different heroes already available!
• Pay VERY close attention to the order you place them in though, because it will determine the points they're each awarded(see rules below for more info).
  (So make sure you put your "Most Wanted" favorites first, 'cause it'll increase their individual result tallies & hopefully, bring 'em closer to the top! 'Cause honestly, in the end, those first few spots are the best chance your most favorite MIA heroes have of increasing the odds for a better performance.)(And now iterations of available heroes too, competing in their own individual #1 "Most Wanted" contest for the very first time!)

Rules

• The NEW POLL's Point System: Basically, placement = points. I just inverted the numbers to figure out how many would be awarded for each spot, i.e. your #1 gets 20*, your #2 gets 19, #3 gets 18, & so on. All the way down to your #20 getting only 1 little point, but hey, at least it's something... right?! Lol. Regardless of whether you list an entire 20 or not, the point totals allocated to those you have listed are unchanged & remain the same.
  (* Note: There also may be some sort of bonus "achievement" points given to those characters that receive a significant amount of #1 votes. We'll see, I don't wanna be perceived as putting my finger on the scales & tipping them favorably in any fashion. I don't want to be an influence in any way, shape, or form! At least not in that sense.)
• Edit: There's now a standard "minimum requirement" of 10 heroes that need to be listed in order for any given entry to be considered valid & therefore qualify. So you HAVE to list at least 10 MIA heroes, BUT... you still have 20 spots available to you(w/varying points designated to each), that you may allocate as you see fit. In other words, you can take the balance of characters needed to meet the necessary new requirement, and distribute them wherever you want! There'll be no mandate dictating you must put them in natural numerical order, so you can have a #1 pick, then place & position the other 9 from the bottom up if you wish. Feel free to come up with any combination of 10 out of the 20 positions that gives you the desired effect you're seeking. There's no rules where that's concerned, you can scatter them however you want, as long as you at least have 10.
• Your selections can ONLY be unannounced characters & cannot include confirmed "Upcoming Heroes", such as Hawkeye, Vision, & Cable, just to name a few(see links below for more info).
• Original heroes are strongly encouraged to take precedent & it's my personal belief they should be your priority. Anyway, even figurin' I'm in the minority with that opinion, I WILL NOT be allowing MIA iterations of existing playable characters to share the same list with MIA original heroes. I now want them to be kept completely apart & treated as their own subgroup. (So include them if you must, it's your choice... your conscience, lol.)(Don't worry about it tho... 'cause I'm gonna too! Hah!)
• Edit: Iterations of available characters, the new & improved rule is... a separate, smaller sub-poll, running simultaneously & in conjunction with the main "NEW POLL", for... ITERATIONS ONLY!!! Max amount allowed to be listed is 10, minimum required is 5, w/multiple suggestions for the same hero combined & grouped together at only 1 spot on your list. The point system would be the same & mirror that of the main MIA hero poll(just with 10 instead of 20 as the base rule). Participation is optional, only a legitimate entry for the main poll is mandatory to count any/all of your votes.
• Iterations of yet unannounced MIA heroes will NOT be counted as separate entities for the results. Points aquired by any & all versions of said characters, alternate or otherwise, will appear as one combined sum that will represent the respective hero's final total*.
  (* However, I will provide a detailed breakdown of how many votes each iteration got.)
• As mentioned above, it's not necessary to complete a full list of 20, but please try & make a valiant effort to do so. It would be most appreciated. I realize the task can seem daunting to some, but I've provided a lot of resources for reference to make it easier on ya(see links below for more info). (Still, I don't want you to feel absolutely compelled to reach 20, like it's an obligation or something. Nothing even remotely close to that... this is supposed to be fun!)
• You cannot list the same character more than once. If you do, say perhaps in hopes of giving them an advantage... it'll be for naught! That hero will only be receiving points for just the first time they were mentioned in your list.
• Feel free to list more heroes beyond your top 20, if ya want, but be aware they'll receive no points whatsoever. (Prolly a lil recognition tho, and some is better than none, so go for it!)

FAQ
I'm assuming, lol.

• If I've already posted my top 20 picks but would like to make some changes, and the poll hasn't ended yet, how do I go about doing that?
  This is important! Please make a new post only stating your intention(s) & what the change(s) will be. Then just go back & edit your original post accordingly. I believe it'll be less confusing this way, as well as narrow the margin for error when I'm documenting & calculating for the results.
• How long will the poll last, what is its duration?
  TBD
• When will the results be posted, how long after the voting has ended?
  TBD
• What details can you tell us about the results, like how many spots there'll be & whether they'll be released all at once, or in increments?
  We're prolly lookin' at a top 40... at least! I'm thinkin' it'll be more fun & exciting for everyone if I reveal the outcome slowly, but steadily. Maybe something like 5 per day, 10 at the most*.(For the available hero iterations, it'll most likely be a top 20, with the results being released at a pace mirroring that of the parent poll percentage wise.)
  (* Note: I just had another thought, perhaps as we draw nearer to the triumphant final few, I'll make a contest out of correctly guessing the order they fall in!... ? Or something, we'll see.)

My Top 10 Most Wanted Iterations

1-. Jean Grey (90's Costume): My favorite ,non-Phoenix, Jean costume. Its just so iconic to me I find it hard to see why they didn't use it for her since the beginning considering they gave Cyclops his retro costume.
2-. Storm (90's Costume): Possibly my favorite out of the bunch, Storm was my favorite X-Men in the cartoon just because of her costume and I would love to see it in game, specially if they give her some new battle emotes.
3-. Psylocke (British): Not a must but I would feel delighted to see Betsy done her first costume, its just so pink and frilly that it has to come in game, that could probably give us a ranged Psylocke.
4-. Scarlet Witch (Gypsy): I love this outfit for Wanda, its just really unique and the huge earrings are also a nice touch, my only dislike is the curly hair but I guess its part of the charm of the costume, maybe they could make Wanda faster if they decide to us it.
5-. Black Panther (Classic): Even though his current in-game costume is my favorite Black Panther costume I would like to see this one just for the nostalgia and hopefully a better gameplay for him involving blades and daggers as weapons.
6-. Phoenix (Dark Phoenix): Being my favorite color I would love to see Dark Phoenix in game, she wouldn't heal or help others, instead she would probably just do insane damage to the enemies, plus we got Dark Surfer so whats not to expect from this.
7-. Luke Cage (Power Man): This one is just mainly because this is the costume I grew up with while knowing Cage. It would probably not be made in a long time but I would wait for it.
8-. Dr. Strange (Modern): I love this new costume for Dr. Strange, its just less flashy and more dynamic looking (still nothing beats the original) and they could implement that by having him have a quicker combo and some big animations.
9-. Nick Fury (Earth-616): I might be one of the few people that might actually prefer Ultimate Nick over the classic one but still he NEEDS to appear, he is the one every comic fan prefers and loves.
10-. Ms. Marvel (Binary): Knowing her classic look is coming I would be fascinated to have her Binary form, it could possibly have her deal more damage and have her do some impressive moves.

I'll be following suit ASAP, and it looks like we're gonna have quite a few in common, so you've obviously made some great choices. I really like & enjoy the comments on each of your picks afterward, too. It gives us insight into why you chose who you did AND what could possibly be done to improve them in-game. IDK, I always thought the topic of SHSO's "Most Wanted" MIA heroes would easily be popular enough to warrant, justify, & sustain a thread on its own. While the reaction to it hasn't been quite what I expected & the response has been softer than I anticipated, I still think we're doing OK. Besides, after that daylong PM eXchange last week & having everything we suspected confirmed... there's NO WAY I'd stop this thread now!!! Not until we run out of characters to keep askin' for or SHSO just simply ceases to exist. And I don't see either one of those scenerios coming to light anytime soon. I mean, everything I learned during those PM exchanges just fuels my motivation & keeps me thinkin' mostly positive, no matter what! I just wish I could of been more forthcoming with all the info on potential upcoming heroes & future updates. Not to mention things in relation to this thread's, and all CBR SHSO threads really, connection to some of it. I mean, if fans only realized how much impact we could actually have & the amount of influence we could eventually wield as a result... I would think they'd be askin' for what they want every single day! Oh well, the evidence will present itself sooner or later(you didn't think Cable & Bishop would be released by themselves, did you?... Food for thought, squaddies!), then everybody can see for themselves. And if they fail to draw the right conclusion, don't worry, I'll be right there to point it out for 'em! Besides, by that time... I'll probably be blabberin' like a coffeehouse gossip, who's totally tweaked out & feelin' massive rushes from waves of caffiene! I'm not good at keeping secrets, not THESE kind of secrets anyway. By the time it's kosher to say something, I'll probably be ready to explode! I imagine it'll be quite cathartic, tho.

But just out of curiousity V, what did you mean eXactly by the "potential" thing? I think I got what you were implying on the sly, what with the lil winking smilie & all. Was there more to it tho? I mean, I guess what I'm asking is, did you have some ideas or suggestions to share on developing & growing this thread? The reason I ask is, I've been thinkin' a lot myself lately about ways for this thread to gain attention & get more exposure. The most important thing right now in particular, is to find ways of getting more people to participate in the NEW POLL, so we can have as broad a consensus as possible. We'll do alright, I have no doubts, I just never thought soliciting would be such a factor & play such a BIG part in everything. ThanX once more, Virgo... you ARE a Dream! :)

I'm sorry for the confusion, and I don't blame ya, my rollout & execution of this NEW POLL hasn't been the smoothest... that's for sure. It's my first attempt, and with it being a lil more involved than the previous polls done, I've had to adapt & evolve the idea some in reaction to a few unforeseen issues. That being said, I think I can... should... and WILL boil down the overall concept to its bare bones for everybody. I was plannin' on doing so anyway, I was gonna have to, for an advert template to be used in promotional efforts. What do you think about somethin' like this?:

• SHSO: The NEW POLL for "Most Wanted" MIA Heroes - A NEW POLL!!! For ORIGINAL, UNAVAILABLE CHARACTERS ONLY!!!! NOT for confirmed upcoming heroes or alternate versions of currently playable(iterations) ones!!
