Hey everybody, this is just the first entry in a series of few more, 'til we reach up to 150 or maybe even 200+. Once I complete all of them, I will create a much more structured chart that'll utilize the same system, but be far more organized & reader friendly. It'll break all the heroes up into their respective groups & sub-groupings. It'll hopefully then be used as a resource for voting choices in the new poll that I'll be starting in a week or so. The above is really more for my own use than yours, honestly, so please bare with me. ThanX!

Hey, it's a SHSO thread I haven't seen before! Yay! All of the heroes I really want are in the game (or will be shortly): the O5 X-men and the all-new, all-different X-men (Phoenix, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolvie). Banshee would be fun, but I've never been a big fan, so I don't miss him that much.

How are you ranking the list of characters? Going through your list, I'd like to see Quicksilver, Polaris, Wolfsbane, and Dazzler since they have powers not seen in the game yet. They could add characters like Captain Britain or USAgent easily enough, since they can just re-use the same moves from other characters (Sentry, Cap), but I would prefer to see unique characters being added.

Sorry Psi, I haven't been on here lately, but you are doing an extraordinary job! I feel, I have my own thread within a thread on Mason's, I don't which way is left or right, right now because I am so busy, but just wanted to good job.

ThanX, once again CUG, for the very encouraging words. I know EXACTLY what you're saying about the effort & time it takes "maintaining" your own thread. I also see where your going to be learning even more about it, as you take your wonderful Tourney League idea & develop a thread devoted solely to IT. Congrats!

ThanX to the adamant urgings of Quirky & others(my Tourney League teammates Wraith & Colossus tossed the idea out there first, I believe), and of course, our team leader Mason being ever gracious as always... we now are going to have, what in my mind, already should've been. So while I DO feel it's like an "about time" moment, I completely understand your trepidation, and wanna commend you for your unwillingness to do so until getting Mason's perspective. You may had to endure some friendly razzin' about it, but it was an honorable thing you did, as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure Mason appreciated it too, and is prolly even proud, I would say. And startin' your own thread was the RIGHT thing to do, you won't regret it. Well, maybe a lil bit sometimes(for reasons that were most recently pointed out by DD)... BUT MOSTLY NEVER!!!

I must be one of the few Jean fans who actually likes Rachel. And I don't mind Maddie but that's only cause I see her as another fragment/incarnation of Jean that is split away too often.

Lol, yeah, I definitely think you're in the minority there amongst Jean fans when it comes to the Rache. I guess I could be more accepting of Maddie if I thought of her that way, but I'd prefer she just stayed... out of sight, out of mind... pun intended.

ThanX, Scarlet! I LOVE the X-Women too, as a whole(Storm, Jean/Phoenix, Rogue, Psylocke, Emma, Kitty, Polaris, Dazzler, etc.), they're prolly my faves.

I remember seeing a post from someone who mentioned that the Gazillion team read our threads, so I don't think we should ever stop discussing and vocalising about who we wanna see in game!

That's eXactly what I say! Anyway, it can't hurt, but I hope they really do keep tabs on all the goings on here at the CBR SHSO threads. It would be nice if they took our various thoughts/ideas/requests into consideration.

In my mind she's the only Darkstar, and thanks to the very brief careers of the other two i'm pretty sure she's the only option in Gazillions mind too! Her powers would be a great visual and easy to design which is a plus.

Yeah, there's no doubt, Darkstar is just a total win-win all the way around. She'd be prime pickin's for the SHSO hero roster.

Do yourself a favor and buy some Excalibur TPB's, I guarantee you will love it! It's hard not to fall in love Meggan, and she and Kurt's flirtation made for great reading!

Her powers are quite nebulous and it seems like there isn't much she can't do, but that makes for a lot of potential in game - they could reference her drawing on the earths power and growing ala Giant man, her vast elemental powers (she controls them all!) or even have her transform into her were-form for some savage beast action! The potential is endless. Not to mention her character would be absolutely adorable!

Alright, your tryin' to sell Meggan for all she's worth is working on me. I've never disliked her, but thanX to you, I'm definitely seeing her in a more positive light. All the things you've brought up about her has certainly piqued my interest & I view her more favorably now than I did before. Her look would make her a cutie in the game, no doubt, and the power possibilities do sound amazing. I'm with ya!

Well he was a member of the Champions, so maybe we could be seeing Darkstar (!!!!) and Hercules? We already have Iceman and Black Widow, and with Angel next week that would complete the team.

Wouldn't it be crazy if we actually got Darkstar?! I wouldn't bet on it, but hey, ya never know. Just would be weird since we just started talking about her here. Ghost Rider's always been somewhat of an enigma to me, so I haven't a clue really.

I with you on R'chel, she's never really grabbed me, though I did like her in Excalibur. However I have a lot of love for Maddie Pryor! I didn't like her until Scott left her for X-factor and Jean though. Seeing her struggle with her deep loss and her slow descent into madness was amazing, from that freaky dream where Jean steals her physical features and then her life, to getting a little revenge on Cyke and seducing Havok. Compelling!!!!

Maddie was a bad, bad girl, wasn't she? Gotta love her for that! Lol. And goin' after the baby brother, man, that's totally rotten to the core. Polaris should've just given her a massive EMP induced stroke and put her out of her own, and evryone's else's, misery.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys in game too, and kicking some butt X-ladies style!

So jazzed this finally happened, Invincible Enchantress. We did kick butt, and will so again, 'cause the X-ladies combined are unbeatable!

Madelyne's not a fragment. She's a spinoff who grew into a separate person, like any identical twin.

I know! He's awesome too, I LOVE him, both fast AND powerful! He seems to not withstand damage very well tho, but I've only played 1 mission with him so far! I don't care anyway, he's still great, I am SO happy with how he turned out! Can't say too much tho, gotta save it for my "official" review over in Virgo's & Avenger Lady's SHSO Character Discussion thread.

Gotta go do some stuff today, but will be back on later this afternoon/early evening, ETA between 5-6 pm EST. I'm gonna forward you a PM I sent Emilio this morning concerning our team's practice plans & the like. Maybe we can all get together tonight or over the next few days, before Sunday, to start brainstormin' some strategies & stuff(plus do some dry mission runs).

Also, there's stuff I gotta get doin' in this thread, too. First up, is responding to your & Magenta's earlier posts. There was something in Magenta's post in particular, that for me, caused an epiphany concerning SHSO's appeal & high addiction factor. Can't wait to eXpress my theory & see what everybody else thinks about my "discovery", for lack of a better word. It'd be more akin to a realization, I think.

Plus, there's more collages I wanna do & post, my continuing efforts to assemble an organized "Most Wanted" MIA heroes reference chart, some options for the upcoming poll I'm mulling over that I would like some feedback on before making a final decision, AND maybe even some other fun surprises I've been considering for this thread, if I can manage it. I'm also going to be helping CUG with the tourney as a judge & anyway else I can, for that matter. Then, I'd would like to participate in everbody else's threads as much as possible besides. You may not be a fan of Banshee, Magenta, but he would most definitely stand tall in the "unique" criteria department. No hero currently available utilizes sonic powers, and it's not like there's an abundance of them to choose from in the MU. In fact, only his daughter Siryn & Thunderbolt Songbird come to my mind.

I too, Magenta, recently scratched a lot of my "Most Wanted" MIA characters off the list. This "Onslaught" of X-heroes we just got, gave me both Phoenix AND Angel, who were like my top 2 "Most Wanted" pretty much(not counting Polaris, Dazzler(s), Archangel, & more Jeans, etc.). I am 1,000% satisfied with them, they're both awesome!! It also brought me Iceman(the only disappointment really, NOBODY seems to like him... ), Nightcrawler, Psylocke, Shadowcat, & Beast. I mean WOW... that's quite the group! Especially being released in a string like that, which prolly won't happen again for me 'til... oh, IDK... the Avengers! Lol.

But there are still PLENTY of heroes I wanna see yet! Ranging from absolute must-have necessities like the aforementioned Polaris & Co.(but also including Crystal, Namor, Iron Fist, Havok, Quicksilver, & Black Bolt(there's another hero with sonic capabilities... dang, can't believe I forgot 'bout tuning fork head! Lol), to characters I'd merely REALLY love to see, such as: Cannonball, Photon, Justice, Blink, Shang-Chi, Songbird, Domino, Northstar, Sunfire, Mockingbird, & Misty Knight... just to name a few, heh-heh-heh. Then there are heroes I would kinda like to see or wouldn't mind seeing. So as far as I'm concerned, the possibilities are endless and the options are many. There's tons of Marvel lore to be mined yet, and will be for some time, in my humble opinion.

I just went thru it page by page, and when I saw a character that wasn't in the game yet(or confirmed to be at some point), I added them. Supposedly, they're listed in the order of the Marvel publication appearances they've each had, including both comics & graphic novels I'm assuming. TBH, I'm not really sure how the total numbers are arrived at tho.

Don't have time right now to go into detail like I wanted to about this "eye-opener" I had(mentioned in my earlier post), that was a direct result of something in Magenta's above quote. The wording just reminded of when I heard something similar, but applied to a different... product, I guess would be the right term. What I will do for now tho, is bold the phrasing I'm referring to, which'll highlight it for ya. Doubt if it'll give ya much of a clue, if any, but who knows. At least it'll be some food for thought anyway... I hope.

Ha! How many more Jeans do you need in the game? Jean Grey/Phoenix is my favorite comic character, so I'd love to see her more, but there aren't that many versions left. Of course, if Wolverine can get a Street Clothes version, then Jean can have another costume (New X-men leather would be my pick). But to be fair, I'd prefer unique characters before more iterations of the same set of heroes.

The X-men have been great! That's what I grew up reading, and I am really, really happy with how they turned out. I'm not that interested in the rest of the Marvel Universe to be honest. But then, I knew nothing about Black Cat before this game, and I think she's great to play, so there should be some heroes I will enjoy even if they aren't X-men. I just won't have the built-in fandom that kept me waiting and anticipating like I did for Phoenix and co.
