You would?! Ya know Platypus, call me Sherlock, but I'm guessin' you were the lone wolf who voted for good ole Thunderstrike. Where was he on your list, what #? Maybe he'll place higher in the new poll I'll be conducting here in just a few weeks, with the new scoring system. I'm vaguely familiar with him myself, but will make a point of findin' out more about him, since you seem so enthused.

Truth be told, there were a lot of character names listed in those results that I've never even heard of, or barely anyway. So what was cool about this whole thing for me, was that by looking up their pics & info, I was being introduced to & learning about them. For the first time in many cases, like Jennifer Kale, for instance. That's why I saw these lil pics I've been postin' as a sort of thank you to all our CBR team members. I tried to include at least 1 image of as many characters from the poll results as I could. My hope was they would see a hero who maybe only they voted for, or were 1 of a 2/3 vote-getter, and say... "Cool, there's a character I voted for!" Kinda like how you did with Thunderstrike, IP. It's like a lil wink & nod to each and every one of ya, I wanted to make it inclusive. Just to give ya an idea, these are most of the bigger vote-getters I was pretty much either completely unfamiliar with, or knew next to nothing about:

Machine Man
Prowler
Rocket Raccoon
Clea
Gorilla-Man
Sersi(Thought I knew who this was, but when I saw her pics, I was like who the... ? Very intrigued by this one, but now need to find out who I thought she was IS, if that makes sense.)

'Cause Squirrel Girl's comin' to Super Hero City, and she's bringin' Tippy-Toe with her!(Don't let the name fool ya, TT can handle her own!) She's lean, mean Doreen Green, and she's never met a nut she couldn't crack! You mess with this girl, you're gonna get the squirrel! Just ask Thanos!

Due to the high demand for SG, I just couldn't resist. I myself, have come to realize that her charms are completely irresistible. She'll win ya over! After researching her just a lil today, I think she's great! Really lookin' forward to her being added to the game now, no doubt. She's gonna be a lot of fun!

One thing you might really like, is our latest craze... "theme teams!" I see you're a major Storm fan, we could get together with some others & do an all X-Women team! BTW, are you interested in seeing more Storms? I'd like to see 'Ro in her 90's white outfit, that was one of her classics, tho I still like any variation of her original best.

Oh, and Platypus, there'll be some Thunderstrikes headed here soon too! Mainly Eric, but a lil bit of Kevin too. Figured you were more interested in the original, hope I was right.

I'd love to see a 90s costume for her as well although I'm not sure if we can expect it or not. I do know that RLAAMJR loves the X-Trinity (Storm, Jean, and Rogue) so that would be a great team-up! JGF, you should! I love the female X-Trinity of Storm, Jean, & Rogue as well! Imagine if we got a 90's Storm, Jean, & Jubilee, then used them all together with our current Rogue... X-Men:TAS baby!!! That would be awesome! How about Emma, Jean, Psylocke, & the Prof(when we get him) as... a psychic "Charlie's Angels!" The name Charlie even fits, lol. Or Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, & Jean for a Blue & the Gold throwback. When we finally get Dazzler & Polaris, the combinations will be endless. Jean, Po', 'Ro, & Kitty as the original X-Women; Phoenix, Storm, Kitty, & Dazz during the early days, circa the X-Men's first encounter with the Hellfire Club; Storm(Mo' 'Ro?), Rogue, Dazz, & Psylocke during the Aussie Outback days... dang, we gots to get on this! We should use the team thread to set somethin' like this up, JGF, whatta ya think? If it's successful, we can start doing all different kinds of theme team nights or weekends. I mean, just gettin' together & doing something as simple as playin' the F4 is wicked cool to me honestly.

That would be a great idea! The possibilities are indeed endless. I believe the CBR team thread has set up some big theme mission day but I've been so busy these days that I haven't checked it out. Luckily a certain somebody just got revealed (cough...check the threads...cough) and my schedule has magically been wiped clear.

I'd prefer her to be a mission just so we can see a Blue Area of the Moon stage with the Shi'ar. But a playable Dark Phoenix would be 99.99% as good for me. Maybe even both

When I think of epic X-villains, one name comes to mind... APOCALYPSE!!! 'Cause I don't really see Mags as a villain per se, he's always kinda walked the line for me. Tho he HAS strayed from it, in both directions, quite often too. Erik's MO is actually rather complicated, I find.

I'd personally prefer Outback Dazz to Disco Dazz. The KISS look never did it for me.

It's time to feed our resident Platypus. Sorry it took me so long Indigo, but yesterday I had a touch of this Phoenix madness that's goin' around. I'm better today, but it's still with me. I imagine it will be for some time... geeky running & all(DD, can't BELIEVE he would dare incur the wrath of almighty Phoenix! Lol.) Anyway, should be postin' some more later, after IP gets a healthy "SHSO wish list candidate" for breakfast. On today's menu...

He's merged and been one with the God of Thunder himself. He was an Avenger, member of the "Thor Corps", and his own hero. After fighting valiantly in such battles as the Kree/Shi'ar war and the Infinity Gauntlet crisis, he was given the enchanted mace Thunderstrike, by the All-Father Odin. He adopted that same moniker as a code name and fought evil honorably in the spirit of Thor & the Asgardians. He eventually met a tragic end, but moved on to the afterlife in peace & dignity. He was Eric Masterson...

now he's the son, Kevin!
